He does not try to fit people into a pre-defined category or diagnosis, but considers them as whole individual and provides help within this context. He really got to the heart of the issues at hand. I highly recommend Dr. Herzig for treatment of anxiety and depression. He rates highly in empathy, knowledge, patience, and resourcefulness. Aside from being an effective psychologist, he is also a scholar and sees the patient as a whole being in the light of their friends and family, culture, educational background, and unique experiences. You would not just be another number and he does not follow a script. Dr. Herzig always responds promptly, even on weekends and sometimes even when he's on vacation. He really cares about his patients and tries to do the best for them.
