We too have had nothing but fantastic assistance and professionalism from Dr. Noble. Our daughter was diagnosed last year at the age of 12 with Crohn's, and we have had nothing but positive experiences during this time of adjustment for us. Depending on the age of the child, I am a firm believer in making sure that they are fully aware of what is happening to them, and what could happen in their future with respect to their health. My daughter has to learn what to do and what not to do, and what effects certain things will have on her body now, so that she may make the right choices, and do what is necessary for her own well being. She is extremely comfortable with Dr. Noble and that is a benefit to her health care, as she is able to talk openly with the Dr. so that we can proceed properly with the necessary treatment. We love Dr. Noble!!

Our experience is vastly different from the previous reviewer. Couldn't imagine where we would be without Dr Noble. She makes us feel that our opinions are valued. She asks questions to ensure treatment plans suit our child's needs. procedures at KGH have gone well. nice person and great doctor. We deal with many specialists paediatric doctors and know she is one of the good ones. She has at times "thought out loud" which might give some parents the perception that she is being indecisive. I like knowing her decision making process, but I can understand how her "thinking out loud" could be distressing to the previous reviewer. It is not easy being a parent of a child with a chronic GI condition. Having a great doctor makes a big difference! Thanks DrN!

Dr. Noble has, several times, given us cause for questioning the medical interventions she has suggested for my child. We have had to direct medical staff, ourselves, to prompt her to provide medications and supplements which would have been the norm at home, just to keep our child at a minimum of health in the hospital. An insistence that life-altering surgery, and accompanying discussions regarding such, in front of our child have caused extreme anxiety and stress at a time when that is the opposite of what is needed for healing. We have since taken the situation in hand ourselves and insisted that our child is fully aware of the possibility of surgery, and other medical interventions and that there is no need to further upset things with daily conversations about surgery and the like. To say her approach is unconventional is being polite. For the first time, I have had to invite other physicians' insight, with the doctor questioning our second opinion. Very upsetting.
