Dr. Aspe-Lucero is a star! His bedside manner is exceptional and his knowledge is unmatched. There were complications during my radical hysterectomy due to a prior procedure performed by another gynecologist that left me with a catheter for months after the surgery, and he has seen it through to the end when he easily could have passed me off to a urologist. I would recommend him to anyone. I do not take my medical care lightly, and Dr. Aspe came in well above my expectations.

Very rude and arrogant. Looked down on me when I came in and was very judgemental. Would not recommend. Not professional either. I suggest doing more research because the reviews on Dr. Aspe-Lucero must be fabricated.

Dr. Aspe-Lucero has become my friend , as well as my Dr. I would highly recommend him, as he is both caring and knowledgeable. I trusted him with my life during major surgery for ovarian cancer. He treats you as an important person and not just another patient. And he does have a good sense of humor and a wonderful smile.

I would highly recommend him. He explained what the operation involved, what he was going to do and what to expect afterwards. He genuinely cares about you and you are not just a number. He gave me a second chance at life and for that i am forever thankful

I trusted him the moment I met him. He is very knowledgeable, thorough & an amazing oncologist. He has a sense of humour too. I'm very lucky to have him as my oncologist.

I ended up with surgery in August 2013 with Dr. AspeLucero - he is amazing, his bright orange scrubs were a surprise but, they matched his personality - he explains everything in detail and does not think of any question as insignificant. I felt very comfortable with him doing the surgery. On the day of surgery, he had a student working with him, I was introduced to her and had her come shortly after the surgery to check me over and ask if I was okay with her approval for dismissal or if I wanted Dr. Aspe-Lucero to come. I had enough confidence with Dr. Aspe-Lucero to know he was not sluffing me off on his student, but, showing his confidence in the student and the success of my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. AspeLucero

Suzanne is the nurse that I dealt with whether it was to make an appointment or receive medical information and she was incredibly nice and helpful! Fantastic to have a positive experience before you even see the Doctor! With the stress/anxiety of the situation, Dr Aspe-Lucero quickly put me at ease and then explicitly explained the procedure that I would require. This included all of the risks that may be involved but his knowledge as well as his wonderful "bedside manner" seemed to comfort me. I didn't feel like just another number either! He treated me like an important person that he was going to take great care of! While in the hospital, his visits were unpredictable but once he did arrive, his concern for my progression/improvement/state was genuine! I had some challenges but he was very efficient and effective in dealing with them, always explaining how he was going to rectify the problems. I would highly recommend Dr Aspe-Lucero to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to return either!

Just recently had surgery for an ovarian tumor and was super impressed with the way the doctor explained the tumor as well as what would happen during the removal of the tumor, my stay in the hospital and what I was to expect during the post operative healing. I was impressed with his bedside manner as well as the care he gave me. I would highly recommend him as I received excellent care. Sharon
