My family has been treated by Dr. Sokal for over six years. She gets an A+ rating in our case. We were previously very dissatisfied with our doctor. Dr. Sokal is very caring and stays on top of things. I hurt my arm, and she sent me for an X-ray. They said it wasn't' broken. She gave me the report but called back to check on me. She sent me for an MRI, which showed it was broken. She's very good about calling you back. She spends two hours at the end of the day calling patients. She calls with test results and also sends a copy. Dr. Sokal is, thankfully, attentive about getting my husband in for appointments and required tests. He's not always good about taking care of himself. My sister has special needs, and the doctor has been very thorough providing her care. Dr. Sokal really listens to you and is very knowledgeable. We are extremely happy and more than satisfied with Dr. Sokal. I'm really glad we found her!

I would like to make a comment since I did see that an 18 year old said that she was not compassionate. While I would not say that Dr. Sokal is warm or mushy, I would say that she gives me the most attention and never dismisses my issues as many other doctors have done in the past. There is nothing that I have ever came to her with that she did not try to find a solution. She is always good about calling with test results as well. If you want someone to cry with you, go see your Nana, if you want a good doctor, see Dr. Sokal.

I have been going to Dr. Sokal for almost 20 years. She is awesome! She cares so deeply for her patients, which I could understand--if you did not know her--you might mistake her seriousness as not being cordial. That couldn't be further from the truth--she is deeply concerned about her patients. (I always joke with her to make her laugh). Plus, she is GREAT at being aware of appt. times. I NEVER wait long to see her. I always get an appt. the same day I call (as they keep appt. times open for priority a.m. callers). She comes into the exam room within 10 minutes(even if you have an appt. at the end of the day). She is well educated & keeps up with technology (they just changed over to electronic records), which is a plus. I love Dr. Sokal & her Staff. I thank her for all the medical care she has given to me and my husband over the years. We will never change physicians! Dr. Sokal, YOU ROCK!! :)

I've been going to Dr. Sokal for atleast 15yrs now, I have just read the previous statement on here about her not having a bedside manner or seeming uncaring I can see why someone who first meets her or has not been going to her long may assume that, don't mistake her serious demeanor as not being concerned , take it from me she so great at diagnosing that she is busy doing her job in her head seriously listening and diagnosing, I know from many experiences she is our family doctor that she knows what she is doing and that her patient care is of her utmost concern , don't judge a book by its cover, and if she seems uncaring personality wise let her know thats how it seems to you, believe me she would want to know how you feel about your experience seeing her , because that IS how much she cares. She diagnosed a serious medical issue I was having & now I have my life back! Thank you Dr. Sokal, btw her staff now is A plus, it was lacking in the past, but she cares enough to get the best

I had been seeing Dr. Sokal for several years and when I turned 18 I stopped. I paid to go to patient first over seeing this woman. She has no bedside mannor at all what so ever. She is cold and not at all kind. I have had some pretty serious illness' come up over the years and she was less than compassionate. The one and only time she showed some empathy was when I was in agonizing pain due to what turned out to be a severe gall bladder issue. I would not refer anyone to her at all. Her staff is brainless and needless to say awful. I switched doctors over a year ago and that was the best decision I ever made. I am still waiting on my medical records to be transfered...good thing I didn't hold my breath. This whole office is a sad escuse for medical care and quite frankly should be ashamed of the quality of service they provide. If you want a caring doctor who cares and a staff that treats you with respect not just another patient adding to their paycheck do not see Dr. Sokal.

Selected her as my Primary Physician because of someone's recommendation. I hardly ever go to the Dr.'s and when I do I would at least like to make eye contact and feel that I am being listened to and not just a "number". I asked to have my blood work results sent to me and I'm still waiting - one year later.

DR. SOKAL IS THE BEST! She is knowledgeable and up to date on information that affects her patients. She is caring. I'm soooo lucky to have her as my family physician and trust her completely to oversee my care. I have faith in her. She is responsive to my needs, concerns, and requests. I owe her a debt of gratitude forever for a recent diagnosis when specialist could not. Thank you Dr. Sokal! God bless you! -Marien

Dr. Sokal is understabding, patient and compassionate she is everything you would want in a family physician. I have been going there for 10 yrs. I would recommend her highly.

I have been seeing Dr. Sokal for 15 years or so. The front desk staff have usually been rude no matter who she gets in there. I do like her because she is pretty much on time and listens to me.
