This guy is absolutely horrible for a doctor. I have never been to a more unprofessional and rude clinic. Right from the moment I entered, the staff was so unprofessional. The clinic was dirty. They were not accepting my insurance so I paid out of pocket. On my interaction with doctor, he didn't listen to me properly, kept speaking over me and the appointment time lasted less than 10 mins. The clinic didn't send my prescription to the pharmacy. On calling after the weekend, they weren't accepting that they hadn't sent the prescription. Didn't call me back to keep me posted. I asked for leave of absence and when I spoke to the doctor he said he was not going to do it because I had expressed my opinion about the staff being rude. He even told me that he was doing me a favour by treating me. And said that he won't send my prescription again. He should be banned to practice anywhere in the world.

All the other horrible reviews of this "Doctor" are unfortunately true. He does not listen, nor cares, about anything you have to say. He is extremely quick to prescribe drugs, which is all he does. He only gives a prescription for once a month, then he has a 1-2 minute "conversation" with you at the end of each month, just to renew the prescription. He absolutely talks over you and is condescending and rude. I need to confirm if he actually went to residency at Mt. Sinai, as I really am questioning his credentials. I also want to find out how much he bills my insurance company as the total time spent with me might be 20 minutes a YEAR. He also goes out on vacation and does not renew your prescription. Calls to his assistant never reach him, and calls and texts to his mobile phone are unanswered. Nabil Rezk should not be allowed to practice psychiatry or medicine at all. He is a danger to the public and a blight on the psychiatric community.

Do not believe any of the 5 star reviews (Yelp is good as it does not allow Nabil Rezk to delete or alter any reviews. Also, Zocdoc is very good, BUT Nabil Rezk has chosen to have Zocdoc EXCLUDE any and all reviews of himself. Hmmm. Why, you should ask yourselves.). They are practically guaranteed to be written by a paid service or some people Rezk knows. Believe the terrible reviews, as you can easily see a consistency and commonality amongst all the reviews.

I will now go to the other Physician review sites and post this review. This "doctor" must be stopped right now. In NYC you can also call 311 to file a complaint against a physician. I will do this now as well. There are many, many other choices for psychiatrists in NYC. Just make sure you do not waste your time, or your mental safety, on Nabil Rezk.

7/17/21 - as another 1 star reviewer had noted, and I just confirmed, Nabil Rezk is not listed nor participating in ZocDoc. This must be because ALL ZocDoc reviews are from actual confirmed patients and no reviews can be submitted by anonymous persons. Nabil Rezk would be out of business very soon if he could not control all the horrible reviews. Also, check Healthgrades website as well. Common theme is that there are glowing 5 star review, yet also terrible 1 star reviews like you can see on Yelp. Why are there no 2 to 4 star reviews? Nabil Rezk is 100% untrustworthy.
8/12/21 - Nabil Rezk has relisted himself on Zocdoc. I am 100% certain that he did so because of other reviewers writing that Nabil Rezk refuses to list himself on Zocdoc. HOWEVER, Nabil Rezk has chosen for Zocdoc NOT TO POST ANY AND ALL REVIEWS OF HIMSELF. Considering that all my doctors openly welcome and allow reviews of themselves on Zocdoc, isn't it strange taht Nabil Rezk choses to DENY REVIEW POSTINGS on Zocdoc?

The WORST experience with this doctor. He barely listened to my symptoms and misdiagnosed me with depression (I only had hormonal anxiety). He then prescribed a very dangerous combination of SSRI (Fluoxetine/Prozac with Buspirone) which nearly killed me in just 2 days! I ended up with a life threatening condition "Serotonin Syndrome" which left me bedridden for a month and with severe depression(which I never had before). This doctor nearly killed me with his lack of knowledge in neuroscience and psychiatry! I bet he gets paid by drug companies and could care less of you live or die.

Dr. Nabil Rezk is a caring, kind and highly knowledgeable doctor. He truly cares for his patients, never judges, personable and wants the best for his patients. I highly recommend him for any question or concerns that you may have.

Dr Rezk helped me out of crippling post partum and anxiety and depression. He literally saved my life within 24 hours of seeing him I went from unable to eat unable to sleep barely functioning to getting my life back literally over night. He is very kind and attentive. I highly recommend him

Does not listen to you. Only understands what medication to prescribe for depression and schizophrenia. For any other problems, look elsewhere. Does not understand chemistry to the fullest extent. Does not explain anything. speaks over you. What he says goes; even if you've been on medication that works, if he doens't like it, he wont give it to you. AVOID!!!!!
