Dr. Steindler helped me more in the past year than All the others have in almost 10 years. I had 12 surgeries before meeting Dr.S on 10 different body parts, taking 26 pills a day. He started the ball rolling on my Spinal Cord Stimulator, and now is helping me with my headaches. First time since my accident I’m getting relief..... Thanks Dr

Talks a good game but falls very short. His pain management concoctions of mixed medications, wrong medications and his inability to listen and understand, are lost in his befalled look that he expresses. Not only do you have a greater chance of him hitting a nerve, literally ( happened to me and at least one other that I know of) but he will go out of his way to make it look like it's not his fault. Do yourself a favor, do not put your well being in his hands.

A very poor example of what a doctor should be. When he was reviewing a MRI with me he disagreed completely with the report, maybe because he was reading a report from 2015 and looking at a x-ray/MRI from 2001, He didn't know the difference until I told him. He messed with my pain meds, including calling the Pharmacy to stop them after 5pm so I couldn't call him back. After leaving him, I ended up having 5 medical procedures done, including 1 operation, ALL which he told me I did not need. BEWARE!

He has been informative and explained in detail, all my options and we came to a decision on a course of action to deal with my pain. He takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Dr Steindler and his staff is the very best and most caring there is....he went over the many options for pain management in detail and spent the time discussing them. He did not push anything. I thank him sooooo much for giving me my life back.......and for caring sooooooo much. I love you !!!!!

I found Dr.Stiengler to be arrogant and lacked compassion for my situation.only one treatment ( the nerve stimulator) after I spoke to my neurologist and did my own research determand along with my Doctor it was not for me.he abruptly said he could not help me with know other treatment considered he was one of the worst Doctors I have been to.the nurses are miserable ! Save your time and money seek help somewhere else. I also submitted a grievance with my insurance company.

So far so good. I am happy with Dr. Stiendler's approach to relieving chronic pain so I can acquire and maintain some form of a Quality of Life beyond living in a traumatized body dubbed: The Prison Of Pain. After a few short months I have been released from the Prison of Pain, and can again enjoy watching Nature living; instead of being virtually bedridden and couch-bound these 17 years.

Miserable appointment because he talked down to me and made me feel two inches tall. When I was crying he said that it must be him because a lot of people leave crying!! Absolutely hated him

After searching for relief to my severe back pain I found St Mary's Pain Management. Dr Steindler acutally took time with me to explain my condition and gave me a few treatment options. We started at the least invasive and worked our way to the option that took my pain away. His follow-up is wonderful. Meeting Pain Management at St Mary's and Dr Steindler was the best decision I could have made.

Dr. Steindler doesn't allow his patients to make their own decisions. He made a recommendation for a pain management procedure. He didn't provide enough info to me so I sought my own education on the procedure. I asked many questions that he seemed like he really didn't like answering, including how many times he performed the procedure and what his statistical success was. He couldn't answer either except with a guess. When I reached out to a specialist affiliated with a prestigious practice in another state and found the procedure to be more advanced there I decided to have the procedure performed there. The Dr. performing the procedure was willing to follow up with Dr. Steindler for future management, however, Dr. S called me and told me he would no longer be my dr!!!! Shame on me for seeking the best possible option in another state with another doctor?? No, shame on Dr. S for trying to force his patients to do as he says and not let them make their own informed decision
