I saw Dr Lim for several months then decided to never see him again. The team are fantastic. I was certainly thankful for the initial diagnosis and his perspective early on. If you fit in one of his preferred diagnostic pots, he is fantastic. But beware of his mantra of getting you to take control of your treatment because he will put you down the moment you do not follow his law. I felt he was not up front about his implicit law - so was shocked with his claims of my not following his program. Be wary if you have Functional Neurological Disorder as he appears to put this in the “I can not help you until you deal with your emotions” basket.

Having been a chronic pain sufferer for approximately 10 years, I was referred to Dr Lim as an initial consult from my surgeon. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable. He was by no means arrogant as other reviews state. My interaction with him has always been positive. He listens, and always took on account my concerns and happy to discuss my ongoing treatment. I felt very comfortable whenever I saw him. I find it mindblowing that people wrote some negative and harsh feedback as my experience with Dr Lim was nothing but. The care I received from him and his team has been amazing and if you suffer chronic pain, I'd highly recommend his expertise and knowledge. For people that may find him a little abrupt, well, he's not there to make friends. He's there to provide a service that will ultimately allow you to live pain free.

I am very grateful to Terence Lim and his team for all they did did for my husband. The team in particular were outstanding. However Dr Lim was the most arrogant, rude and dismissive person I have ever encountered. Puffed up with his own self importance, he is unable to answer questions on information and treatment which needed clarification without resorting to insulting remarks and comments, some of which were verging on cruelty. A thoroughly unprofessional man.

After wasting thousands of dollars and a medical run around before seeing Dr Lim, he and and his team relieved my neck pain with no drugs! But you have to commit and be prepared to listen to him and follow his advice. He doesn’t sugar coat it. Can’t speak highly enough!

Dr. Terry Lim is a rude and arrogant person. He told me that the pain I was experiencing was all in my head and despite this he was able to fix me. 20 years on I still have chronic pain with no little or no relief from medication. I am not able to get a pay out nor do I want one. All I want is a Doctor who understands this and not treat me as such. Terry Lim is not this person (Doctor). He spoke to both myself and my wife with total disrespect and was not at all helpful. He did however, bombard us with his own praise for himself. But self praise is no recognition.

Consultation only, the most self absorbed and rude doctor that I have ever met. Grandiosity has no place in Healthcare.

Was in hospital for just over two weeks, more pain and anxiety than ever experienced before. Dr Lim was rude, unhelpful and very quick to dope you up on ketamine and anti anxiety drugs. Came out many times worse than went in. Does not respond well to being asked questions by the patient. Met other patients with the same thoughts.

The rudest female receptionist who interrogates you when you call. I have a referral from my GP listing 4 serious conditions as to why I'd like to see Dr Lim which was faxed through to clinic.
The rude receptionist said the referral was too vague and began to interrogate me as to why I need to see Dr Lim. I mentioned the referral explained why, it also detailed all of my medication including dosages. What else could it list? I also mentioned I have 5 years of medical information I can send through via email, Dropbox or share google drive. This is from my hospital discharge summary 5 years ago after my workplace accident to current information.
She said it must be faxed or posted in. She said no one at the clinic has access to any email. She then said she must post me patient forms to fill and I must send back with the approximate 100 pages of my medical history via postal service. Upon receipt of my information she would determine whether I'm eligible for an appointment with Dr Lim.
What a rude non-patient friendly practice. I'd rather persist through my myriad of health issues than beg to be seen by this practice.
