I didn’t have bariatric surgery but issues with my esophagus, hernia, stomach not emptying, etc. Two other surgeons would not perform the surgery, they said I had too much scar tissue and surgery would be too dangerous.
For the first time in a number of years, I have my life back. He performed this surgery with no complications whatsoever and for the first time in years, I am able to eat without choking! I am so grateful to him, excellent doctor, this was my third lapfundoplication and the first time I haven’t had complications! He’s amazing!!!

I had a r n y gastric bypass I had the worst abdominal pains right after my surgery no one else had this pain and yet nothing was done it’s been over a year now and am still having abdominal pains and they keep dismissing me in the hospital saying everything is fine when indeed it is not fine because my body is warning me I am waking up in pain daily hospital visits with wasted time because they don’t do anything but make you wait at st joes… get your surgery elsewhere as st joes is getting paid to kill people. Beware. I am a single mother and have been treated horribly by the doctors some of the nurses are kind but I have not been having any luck and am feeling dismissed as I have to raise my daughter alone with zero support and have been doing it with worse pain than before as I had this surgery to help with the pain I was in previously due to obesity and a really bad car accident I was in…. Now I feel as if my organs are shutting down even though there telling me everything is fine and I have been eating very good with my diet and exercise I have lost over 150 pounds but it’s not about how you look it’s about how you feel and I don’t feel very good and the support I am getting from the doctors aren’t very kind either. No help not happy.

I find him to be be rude and rushing when l go meet him for my appointment. I wished there was someone else than him. I regret having my gastric sleeve messed up

He did an RNY 12 years ago ...I lost 200lbs and kept it off. Last year I was having issues with early satiety and nausea . I started loosing weight and vomiting .I contacted his office ..I was booked for a scope I had an ulcer .....it did not respond to medication . I was scoped again and then later admitted for surgical removal.....I am back to normal and feel great .....He is the best

Did a Roux en Y Aug. 2022. Very fast getting me prepped and very nice. He called my husband after surgery and was kind. Stitches healed quickly and neatly. No issues after surgery. Great surgeon!
