Biography
Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Dr. Hesham Sherghin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2011, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He then completed a year-long Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at St. Johns Providence Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Sherghin was the class Vice-President and served as an active member of several societies and organizations. He was the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions including the Most Cooperative Student Award, and Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award-International Congress of Oral Implantology as well as other academic awards and scholarships. Dr. Sherghin is a firm believer in lifelong learning and has completed extensive continuing education in dental surgery and implant dentistry. Dr. Sherghin recently completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Ivey Business School and is an active member of several study clubs in Ontario. Dr. Sherghin loves dentistry because it is the perfect blend of healthcare and business. Dr. Sherghin enjoys helping his team operate over 20 successful dental offices in Ontario. He is the founder of a dental management and tech company (Amity Inc.), as well as the Dentistree Academy. Dr. Sherghin takes much pride in supporting his community through sponsorships and volunteering. In his downtime, he enjoys travelling, spending time with his family.

Wish I made the switch earlier. My precious dentist saw my daughter a few weeks ago and said that she needs to be put under for treatment. My daughter does not have any issues at the dentist but my old dentist was adamant on sending her to a specialist. I went to see Dr Sherghin for a second opinion and I was very impressed with everything. Staff in Ilderton were very professional, my daughter was comfortable during the entire procedure and Dr Sherghin took his time explaining everything to us.
