I love Dr. Hopen. I go to him, my mom goes to him, my partner (ssdp) goes to him, without EVER an issue. Very knowledgable, very nice... If there is 1 drawback to going to him it is that he will quickly move on to his next patient (kind of understandable - he's a popular doc, but if you make sure he knows you have stuff you want to talk abotu he will get you answers...). I will *HATE* trying to find another dr. whenever he decides to retire...

Very accomadating, friendly, knowledgeable.Always fits you in.Never turned away.Takes time to explain things.Very friendly and kind.If my insurance company said i could not go to Dr.Hopen i would switch insurance companies before i switched doctors.Very careing and compassionate.He actually cares about the people and not the money.I would trust Dr.Hopen with my life.

I LOVED DR. HOPEN, ONLY PROBLEM IS HE NEVER STAYS IN THE ROOM LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO ASK YOUR QUESTIONS. HE HAS ACTUALLY WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM ANSWERING A QUESTION WALKING DOWN THE HALL WAY AND NEVER CAME BACK ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. WHEN I ASKED HIM TO MAYBE GIVE ME A SMALL DISCOUNT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE, HE SAID NO. I WAS HURT, I HAD BEEN GOING TO HIM FOR A LONG TIME AS WELL AS ALOT OF MY FAMILY TOO. I GET UPSET WHEN DOCTORS TRIPLE OR QUAD BOOK THE TIME SLOTS. IT SHOWS THAT THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE DOLLAR. WALK IN TAKE A QUICK PEAK AT YOU RIGHT A RX AND WALK OUT OF THE ROOM. AND THEN CHARGE YOU $71.00 YOU KNOW I ASKED FOR A 10% DISCOUNT WHICH WOULD BE 7.10 TAKING THE BILL TO $63.90 MOST INS THEY ACCEPT DISCOUNT IT DOWN TO $50.00-$55.00. OH WELL

Dr. Hopen is the best family doc you could ever ask for. I recommend him to all of my family and friends and they have all agreed. He cares and takes the time to help you and not dismiss your problems. His office is very busy, but he is worth the wait.
