As patient of Dr Amy Strickland my MD referred me when I was experiencing sharp colon pain along with an infection, I was given an appointment 4 weeks out, a week before the appointment her office cancels my appointment due to the doctor going on leave. No referral, no follow up. Total lack of patient care.

Very poor experience with this Dr, her administrative staff and her nurse. Many phone calls required to actually schedule an appt. Dr presents as "nice", but I got the impression from the start, that my already diagnosed (by an ENT specialist) problem of Reflux, was not worth her time and that her recommendation even before she performed an endoscopy, was going to be standard: meds. I am fairly young, healthy and fit. I wanted to know why this was happening and options to deal with this issue, besides mega doses of meds. She did not follow up with the results, insight or options, nor did she even suggest that I see her again. Her nurse called and left me a voicemail message "it's just reflux" and continue to take meds and call if I had any questions. When I called, she was clearly annoyed with my comments and questions. Two subsequent phone messages to her, to get a copy of the results report were ignored. Now, I am being referred by my Primary Care Physician to another GI Dr. as it appears that this one did not do a procedure that she could/should have, to find out more information. This means another endoscopy, wasted time and many more dollars out of pocket. I have lived in the USA for 5 years and this is by far the most unimportant and frustrated I have felt with medical professionals here!

I will strongly recommend Dr. Strickland to anyone I know looking for an excellent GI. She has great people skills and really makes you feel comfortable. Her knowledge and professionalism are top notch as well. You feel very confident that she listens, she cares and knows exactly what she's doing. Dr. Boulay chose her to take over his practice when he retired, he was considered the best in the area by his peers. My Primary Physician speaks just as highly of Dr. Strickland as he did of Dr. Boulay.

My procedure was done by Dr. Strickland at the St. Antony's Endoscopy Center. The new facility is excellent, the staff are prompt, professional and all very kind. Combined, Dr. Strickland and St. Anthony's hospital are absolutely fantastic.

Dr. Strickland is professional. She is also nice. My procedure was just a screening and she handled that great. I was nervous but she along with her staff made me feel at ease. I am sure there are grumpy old people who have tons of medical issues and like to blame others but for me Dr. Strickland was the type of doctor I was looking for. A down to earth working girl who does not carry that typical huge ego.

Waste of time and money. She acts as if you are inconveniencing her. Does not like to explain herself or answer questions. I would go elsewhere.

I searched for over 6 years to find a doctor in Florida, Dr Strickland is the first one that took the time to listen to MY experiences with my body and who listened to what I knew about MY own body. The only doctor I've ever met where i felt she was guiding a discussion around how WE solve my issue and not just prescribe the net page of the book, I tell anyone looking for a GI to go to her...I truly rave over her and even typing this from a hospital bed can not feel ore blessed to have found her,

I was very happy with Dr Strickland. She is professional and very pleasant and, although I only saw her for a routine screening procedure, I felt confident with her skill and knowledge. She took time to talk with me when I saw her in the office as well as at the hospital before and after the procedure and she thoroughly explained my test results. From my experience with Dr Strictland I would highly recommend her.
