I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr Bourget when I had a stubborn bone infection that just wouldn’t go away, he was able to clear it up and get me on the right track quickly. Subsequently I needed removal of old metal and a few teeth, and he completed this in a timely manner with minimal downtime or pain.
No question is left unanswered and he’s very thorough in his assessment. A jem in his profession that is unmatched.
I hope he treats himself with the same compassion and kindness that was offered to me during our appointments.

I broke my three tooth bridge last month. Dr. Bourget and staff were helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. Dr Bourget did an excellent job.

Google this dudes name. He sedated a patient then let a security guard pull teeth while another guard filmed it. Glad I did my research before letting him see my teen. How is this man still licensed?! Please do your research! I don't care how good he is, he can't be trusted!!

Dr Louis Bourget from Atlantic Oral Surgery in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is unequivocally the most professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and down-to-earth doctor that I have ever had. I am someone with a multitude of complex disorders, therefore my list of medical specialists could fill an entire phone book. Out of all of these doctors, Dr. Bourget has shown a level of medical awareness and care for his patients that has far surpassed the others. As an example, a couple of years ago I became extremely ill, and I felt (and looked) unlike anything I had before. I sought help from many specialists, but nobody seemed to think my complaints were worth investigating. During a one week period I happened to have appointments with five different specialists lined up and during each appointment I made the point of telling them that I felt like something was very wrong and that I knew I needed a referral. None of those specialists did anything to support referring me or investigating my complaints any further, saying that it was out of their “scope of practice”. The following Monday I had an appointment with Dr. Bourget, and as soon as he walked in the door he knew immediately that something was wrong with me. He investigated in depth my complaints and said that he was going to write several letters, both of referral and to my family doctor (who had also ignored my complaints) and was going to insist that I required emergency care. That week I received three phone calls- two from the specialists who I needed to see urgently booking me in for appointments and one from my family doctor “wanting to explore my complaints further”. This is just one testimony to the many times that Dr Bourget has shown me that he is AWARE of his patients health and that he ALWAYS puts his patients first. He stays ahead of the curve with all medical information, and is an ethical doctor in its purest sense- putting your patients health as the number one concern. Not only that, he actually listens and cares. I just wish more doctors in Nova Scotia would be like Dr. Bourget and put their patients medical needs first…

The friendliest, skilled nurturing staff I have met. Felt great confidence in them and Dr.Bourget. They took time to explain every detail including tips, follow up calls and recheck. No surprises and felt that I was being cared for expertly. What a wonderful experience.

The doctor was mean rude and never spoke to me AT ALL, b4 or after. He stared at me as I laid there about to go out.....like I was about to die. The clerk is GREAT and so was my nurse....But I hope I never go there again.

I was sent on referral to Dr. Bourget. I found he was a good doctor and was able to diagnosis the issue I was dealing with and provided sound advice.
