I saw doctor Schonfield for the first time in 2012. Great doctor. Very thorough. I had two other occasions to see two other doctors in the practice. I find her staff offputting. I had a 4:15 appointment for which I left the office in plenty of time. While I'm driving, the skies opened up in a downpour that resulted in flash flooding. I arrived for my appointment 7 minutes late and was told by the receptionist that I was late. I couldn't believe it. I asked her if she looked outside. No reply. I don't expect punitive treatment at my doctor's office. The intake nurse had an attitude as well and rushed through the intake exam. I asked if it was customary for the staff to tell patients they are late to which she replied "yes". I appreciate that they wanto to run an on time practice, however, are they never behind schedule? Should I point out to them when they are running late? I find this tactic offensive and I'm on the fence about continuing with the practice for this reason.

Dr. Schonfield is a compassionate doctor who really listens to your concerns. She responds to phone messages. Her staff is very pleasant and comforting. She is always determined to find a diagnosis and if she can't help she will recommend a specialist and stay involved. It is very quick if you get in on your appt time. One thing to mention is that she is very conservative and is cautious in prescribing medication. She will prescribe but she likes to get to the bottom of what is the cause of your issues rather than medicate symptoms, which is good. Highly recommended. I have been seeing her for over 10 years.
