I really hate to give anything but a glowing review, but unfortunately my experience here was a bit disappointing. I’ve had a chronic problem for a decade now and it involves my lower back. Dr. Todd impressed me a lot with his knowledge of my problem even though he hadn’t seen xrays and was the first doctor that told me that when the initial problem occurred (which was a major herniated disc That would remain unable to fully get back in place due to the already severe degenerative disc disease) that he would have sent me for surgery. That gave me hope as he obviously knew what he was talking about. The disappointment came from the lack of effort to get the treatment completed. Due to my issue, my lower back is extremely tight, and on both visits when he tried to adjust my pelvis which would have been a main factor in my specific treatments, he couldn’t get it to move and would just say “wow, that’s so tight, it’s like a brick”. I would have appreciated so much if he took some time to try to relax the muscles in order to try again more effectively. The second time I left, (again, no pelvic adjustment due to tightness), I had about two weeks with this really annoying feeling in my tailbone area that something there was just on the verge of cracking but not matter what I did, it just wouldn’t go. I’m assuming that the thrust he did on that side got the adjustment started slightly, but because it wasn’t complete, it just stuck that way. It made it difficult to sleep and I was constantly trying to stretch, and torc in different ways to alleviate the feeling.
Other than that, he was very friendly, down to earth and knowledgeable. I wish chiropractic treatments weren’t run by the clock so strictly. The problem has been occurring for so long and is so complex, I’d think more than 10 min would be necessary.
