This was our first meeting. My previous doctor has retired so I chose to have Dr. Davila-Bradley take over my care. We had a face to face phone call. It was very good. I explained how I came to the Oregon Clinic & have been a patient since 2002. It appeared Doctor had reviewed my file prior to our meeting. He was familiar with all the various procedures from my initial visit to date. I asked questions & doctor did too. Our “meeting” lasted 15-20 minutes. I felt very comfortable with him & am happy I chose him.

I feel very confident knowing Dr. DDB will do the upcoming surgery on me. He's very good at answering questions about how and what he's going to be doing. While I don't want the surgery, not one little bit, Dr. DDB ran down all the info I needed to change my prior decision to not have the surgery. By the time he'd A-B-C'ed on the whys and wherefores, I was 100% down with him doing the needed surgery!! And my mind isn't easily changed, by golly! I'm sure he's even better in the operating room, so I feel I am in excellent hands.

Dr. Daniel Davila Bradley is an exceptionally skilled surgeon. He was put to task with his surgical skills when addressing my less than straightforward procedure. Dr. Davila Bradley has a compassionate presence about him which was very comforting when making big decisions regarding surgery. He is very well liked by Providence staff which is where I had my surgery. Again, he's an excellent surgeon with a great personality.

Dr. Davila Bradley looked me in the eyes, was kind, very honest and helpful. He took a great deal of time with me and did not appear to be hurried at all. Very favorable impression.

Biography

Dr. Davila Bradley is a graduate from the Oregon Health and Science University General Surgery program. Before studying at OHSU, he studied Medicine and the General Surgery Residency at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Monterrey, Mexico. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Bradley had the opportunity to have a residency in both the United States and Mexico because the United States does not recognize residencies that take place in other countries. His second residency at OHSU allowed him time to hone his skills and get to know the medical community in Oregon. He has also completed a Weight Loss Surgery fellowship at the Legacy Health System in Portland, OR and continued the following year in an advanced Gastrointestinal Surgery fellowship at Swedish Medical Center, Seattle, WA. His main interests are the multidisciplinary treatment of obesity and gastrointestinal disorders.
