I went to this doctor because I have had extreme swelling in my legs for over 16 years. After seeing dozens of doctors over the years with no help, I though an interist would be appropriate as I have many different health issues. This doctor was very rude and rushed my appointment. He kept saying I dont have time for this. He told me I was fat and needed to lose weight. He wanted to put me on a nicotine patch with triple the amount of nicotine than I was consuming a day, and wouldnt answer my questions. He also asked what I wanted from him. I asked for compression stockings, he said very rudely for what, you dont need them. My legs were massive compared to the rest of my body and very painful to the touch. I went to a vein specialist who said no have a disease called lipedema and it has progressed over the years causing damage because it was left untreated. I now have to manage this disease with the help of massage therapy compression garmets and a full body pump system everyday

Dr. Schlotfeldt took time to speak to me during my visit. He didn't rush in and out of the exam room like many of my other doctors. I appreciate that.

Not only did Dr Schlotfeldt evaluate my health problems, but he also evaluated my healthy and unhealthy habits and recommended lifestyle changes that could help improve my problems and reduce future problems. I enjoyed my visit with him and would recommend him to my friends and family.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. Unless you want to feel degraded.
