I was in braces for just over 55 months. Dr nebbe made it so that way my front 4 teeth were sticking out of my mouth for months. Resulting in my teeth being damaged. When i went to go see my dentist he told me that no orthodontiste should have ever done that. Thankfully my time with braces is done now but it has not been with out frustration.

I’m 18 and driving to my own appointments however he felt the need to hide what was going on in my own mouth from me.

When ever i had an appointment he was always standoff ish and was never a genuine nice person. Often times while he was talking he would talk about which vacation he was going on next, i don’t need to know where the money i’m giving him his going.

I could go on and on about how poor of a job dr nebbe did, however the girls who work as his assistants are lovely ladies, and i don’t have a single complaint about them.

Dr. Nebbe and his staff are the best, hands down!! He takes the time to give you all of the options and all of the information and allows you to make the decision that you are most comfortable with. His attention to detail is incredible and my results are fantastic. Incredibly happy that we chose Dr. Nebbe and Align Orthodontics!!

I received braces from Dr. Nebbe as a teenager. Overall, I am not satisfied with my treatment. My teeth often hurt because they do not align properly. When I was receiving treatment (16 through 18 years old), I was not told what they were doing or given options (I was driving myself to my appointments, I was old enough to know what was going on in mouth!). Which, one occasion would have saved money/time. They just cemented in a retainer, which I hated, and then after doing research I discovered essix retainers (like invisalign), so I asked if I could have that instead, which is when I was presented with the 3(!) options for lower retainers and their pros/cons. (Why wasn't I given these choices initially? This was indicative of my entire treatment, just an assembly line item.)

Upon a recent visit to Dr. Nebbe, I went to ask if I could have a new upper retainer made that would move my most painful tooth so it wasn't always in a shoving war.
My first complaint is the $89 consulting fee. I have been a long time patient (though it has been years since I've been there). The $89 would maybe make more sense if Dr. Nebbe spent more than 5 minutes with me. I guess there was also 5 minutes with the assistant, but still- that's $534/hour!

Anyways, Dr.Nebbe said they could do what I was requesting. He also said that I needed a new lower retainer (as it was damaged). He quoted me $350 for each retainer. (Expensive!) So I asked him if he thought that ordering a lower replacement from one of the online stores (about $80 USD) would work? Like would the quality be okay? He got extremely defensive, raised his voice at me, and started accusingly saying things like, "I don't believe it! If that exists I want to order from there myself. Where can you get these? I can't get them that cheap!". He basically stood and started to walk away because he was so mad(?). That was how my time with Dr. Nebbe ended. I was pretty shocked.

Needless to say I didn't go back (not sure why I did in the first place... loyalty or familiarity I guess).

I waited quite a months to write this because I wanted to test the quality of the replacement I ordered online. It seems to be fine. I've been using it for about 3 months now, it's a bit tighter and thinner than my original, but it seems to be doing its job, and doesn't show any signs of wear.

Dr. Nebbe is always so polite and knowledgeable. He always answers whatever questions or concerns I have without making me feel rushed. His office staff is wonderful. They always call or email to remind me of my upcoming appointments, and they always try their best to accommodate you if you need to change appointments. My appointments are also always on time as well. I've been to the Sherwood Park and South Edmonton location, and the staff at both locations were friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr Nebbe and his staff are amazing. I am an adult patient and while a little shy about gettng braces, they were all so supportive and the results are fantastic. Dr Nebbe is extremely knowledgeable, and he was always so polite and gracious. If you listen and do as he asks, you'll see the results and I couldn't be happier. I recommend him over any other Orthodontist in the city.

AMAZING! FRIENDLY! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My daughter had fangs at age 14. It has been 2 YEARS and her teeth are PERFECTLY straight. His office staff is wonderful. They always email ahead of time for appointments coming up and always try their best to accommodate you if you need to change appointments. Dr. Nebbe is very knowledgeable and does and excellent job. Staff care about their patients not money.
