Dr. Bartis is very professional and has taken a proactive role to relieve my sciatica pain. She has prescribed medication that relieves the tingling in my legs.

I have enjoyed the care and advisement of Dr. Bartis. She has increased the dosage of a medication I've been taking for 3 years,(in minimal dosage), that has really helped with my calf and foot problems. She encouraged the lower-back, cortisone injections, and this year my insurance covered this. Now, the treatment I received from her during this first injection was very professional. She was able to guide me past any fears and hesitations I had during the procedure. I chose not to be sedated and was very impressed by all at the Greenville Surgery Center. I go for my second injection tomorrow and look forward to the outcome - less back pain. With her encouragement I have been going to twice weekly, physical therapy sessions at the Texstar Clinic I have had some problems with her office staff, but A big thumbs up for Dr. Cristina Bartis.

I love Dr. Barris! I had two very complicated back surgeries and on strong medicines for over twenty years when I met her after my third surgery. She was very knowledgeable and through in her treatment. She required that I take the medication as prescribed. I pray that God will
continue to bless and lead her . I am no longer on pain medication after twentby plus years! Thank
you...thank you ..thank you!

She is the sweetest and genuine desire to make your life better doctor.I am very impress with her and her knowledge.Every pain doctor I have had just writes out the same prescription every month. After taking the same medication it losses it effectiveness.I do not want my scripts stronger I feel like something else needs to be done. This is what Dr.Bartis does she strives to do alternative methods to see if it will help.I am so impressed with this because I am a senior and drugs aren't as healthy for my body. But hurting so bad life seems to be a burden, and you actuall start tiiuhinking that you wish your life would be over is definately not healthy either. But I feel sure she will help me not to hurt that bad

Dr. Bartis told me things that I already knew about my back - I have slight scoliosis and structural issues- then frowned at me, asked me my bra size, and told me my breasts are straining my back. She seemed very stoic and nonchalant about my pain level. She was reluctant to prescribe any medications despite the intense amount of pain I was in. After I left, the pain increased in intensity, and the minimal amount of medications she had given me did nothing. I called back to the office and told them the pain had become much worse, I wasn't sleeping, etc, and I was told by the PA to wait until I started PT and to workout in a pool. I finally got her to adjust the medication, but it was after a fight. Then when I called for a refill, she said, once again through her PA, that I wasn't due for a refill, apparently forgetting that she had increased the dosage. She called in a refill, decreasing the dosage again to an amount that did absolutely nothing to decrease my pain level. This, after a series of calls and arguing. You will never be able to directly speak to her office, instead going through an automated line to an answering service who will relay a message to her office, then speaking with someone at her office as her proxy. Since my back has been reinjured and I have been suffering terribly, I haven't felt like I could depend on this Dr as any sort of help for my situation. There has never been any compassion for what I'm going through, and I would go to my PT for medical advice long before trying to reach my doctor through the phone maze Lumen Spine Care has established, only to have to argue my point to actually be heard. Least effective or compassionate doctor/healthcare group I've ever been seen by.

Dr. Bartis was the first doctor( after 5 other doctors) who explained the reasons for my pain and the procedures that were performed. The best part of all is my back pain has gone from me not being able to handle it to a zero on most days of the week. I am so happy to have found Dr. Bartis. You can tell she cares about helping people and using what I think are advanced procedures to do that. I usually dont write reviews but was so happy with the treatment I figured out how to do it.

I don't thin Dr. Bartis understands the complexity of pain. She will try to reeduce pain medication even though my pain level was increased. I found another doctor and he listened and HELPED me. Be aware of Dr. Bartis. She should go to another field, maybee family practice. The staff is very rude and not compassionate. They genuinly do not care if you go past 30 days and run out of medicine. If you go to Dr Bartis, She will be nice the first time but after a few visits you will end up in the ER with pain waiting on a refferal to another physician.

Dr. Bartis is a caring, compassionate doctor. If you have back pain I would recommend her. She will use the new procedure, pain mapping, and figure out the source of your pain and how best to treat it.
