I went in to see her in a panic about a spot that showed up, she looked at it, and said it was nothing. I go to a different DR who did a test and confirmed it was genital herpes. I go back to Schallock and she just nods and doesn't say anything just keeps going. So if you're a sexually active person she obviously doesn't care enough to inform you about what is actually there. To me if felt like she was just blaming me and victim shaming. So wouldn't recommend.

Dr. Carrie Schallock delivered my daughter 21 years ago. Difficult C-section delivery. She did an awesome job. I have been a patient of hers annually ever since. I have never experienced anything other than professionalism, courtesy and friendliness from any of the staff at the office. My daughter now is a patient here too.

Quite an unfortunate experience. Dr. Schallock is very sweet, however, her staff does not reflect her kindness. My visits were always very cold, impersonal and communication between the entire office seemed to be consistently lacking. Whenever I needed to contact the office, I was greeted by a less than enthused receptionist who spoke down to me and placed me on hold for extended periods of time. As warm as the doctor was, I am not confident she would know my name without looking at my chart. The last straw for me was at my 21 week check-up, she seemed completely unaware that I had had an ultrasound, found out my baby is a girl and questioned whether I had attended the correct sonographer. Apparently, she had never received my paperwork from the ultrasound she ordered 3 weeks prior and was just figuring this out in the brevity of my appointment. Trying to address my FMLA paperwork with the office staff was a headache in itself and I always prayed I got the office manager on the phone who always addressed me with respect and patience. I am now 24 weeks pregnant and have decided to take my business elsewhere. It's very disappointing as this is my first pregnancy and I think it's very important to have a trusting relationship with your doc and feel comfortable enough to call and express concerns and/or ask questions.

Dr. Schallock has delivered both my boys. My first experience wasn't the best, answers questions to bare minimum, doesn't bring too much importance to your questions specially for a first time mom. With my second boy she wasn't even there to deliver. Staff is the most unfriendly staff I've ever seen at a doctors office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ivchenko for over 10 years; however, he has gone into early retirement leaving me to try his partner Dr. Schallock. Today I went in for an IUD removal for personal reasons. I got to the appointment approximately 10 minutes early knowing that paperwork is always updated at the beginning of the year. Dr. Schallock greeted me and explained what she was going to do and answered my questions. Then it began, it is never really a comfortable situation; however, this was unbearably painful. Not only was it unsuccessful, since she was unable to remove the IUD but the feeling of having a fondue fork going through my belly button was amazingly excrutiating. She did not have the appropriate tools for the job, as she left the room about 4 times leaving me "holding" the instruments. After each instrument did not work, it was time to part ways. I parted with my $60 and my time but what remains is my IUD, my cramps and my fond, fond memories. . . of Dr. Ivchenko.

On January 20th I was seen at Tempe St Lukes for unbearble abdominal and lower back pain. Tests were peformed and a mass was found between my uterus and ovaries. Now,I do have fibroid tumors in my uterus but this was something new and it is quite painful, driving me to the point of tears and nausea. I was instructed to f/u with my gyn to schedule a particular test to determine WHAT the mass is. Got an appt by Tuesday the 22nd 2013. Carrie (wont call her doctor) spent less then five minutes with me did not examine me or set up the required test. She told me I could either do a hysterectomy or live with the pain. She couldn't answer any questions. She also refuses to give me pain medication! Telling me to go back to ER which is frowned upon and expensive per insurance. I found another gyno and I am reporting her and her very rude staff to the Medical Board. I am researching and see she has done this to other women too. Sham eon you Carrie. SHAME. It's all about the $$.

She is an awesome, laid back, down to earth doctor that will sit there and answer all of your questions, loved her throughout my pregnancy!!!! :) Allie her nurse assistant is THE BEST as well, LOVED her too!!! however, I could do without the front desk ladies, RUDE and will talk down to you all the time!!! they should work at the dmv or something because they act like they hate their job! But I will deal with them because of the great natured nurse and doctor there!!! Will for sure use her for my next pregnancy as well!

i love dr. schallock, the staff not-so-much--they are even rude on the phone and keep you on hold FOREVER but...as far as dr. schallock is concerened i was definitely looking for a more laid-back doctor when i decided i would be switching (this is my first pregnancy), someone who could joke and laugh and wasnt so stuffy/professional feeling as my prior ob...she definitely is that! she is so sweet and can laugh with you and makes you feel so comfortable even when you are just in a check-up. loveeee her!

I think the nurse Debbie is the most rude person ever. She does not do a good job comoforting you when you have challanges or questions. She almost makes you feel stupid. I was in pain for 2 months-called and explained my symptons-she wanted to change my birth control. I went on asking if that would get rid of my pain-she said she wasn't aware of my pain. Sent me in for an ultra sound-mind you-i had to call back to the office because they hadn't sent my paperwork to the ultra sound place. I had a tumor on my ovary and NURSE DEBBIE just acted like it was no big deal and not to worry about it. HORRIBLE NURSE!
