I brought my 13 year old daughter to see Dr Jager, for migraines and headaches she’s had since she was 11. His only diagnosis was for vitamin b12, water and exercise. Askdd to follow up in two months. Which I did a few times and he respond “I will shortly” and he never responded again. No scans or test were done by him at the stollery. She still suffers from headaches on the daily.

My nephew met Dr. Yager at the Stollery ER. He was extremely rude and inconsiderate when interacting with my nephew, his parents and other family members in the room. He was even insulting at one point during his consult. Instead of explaining his opinion of what my nephew was suffering from, Dr. Yager insisted right away to treat my nephew with medications instead of investigating further the cause of his symptoms. This interaction understandably upset my nephew's parents and caused further dissatisfaction. After being asked several times (with an emotional outburst even!), Dr. Yager finally explained his rationale for postponing any further investigation. If Dr. Yager had come into the consult without such a distasteful attitude, I am sure the conversation between him and my nephew's parents would have gone much better. A little bedside manner and consideration goes a long way Dr. Yager!

Found nursing staff helpful. Dr. Yager seemed flat / bored. Long wait to be seen. Left with no diagnosis and no treatment plan.

I am very impressed with Dr Yager. My daughter received great care while in Hospital. We are very grateful to him! He is extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful way with his sick little patients! I was very impressed with his follow-up. Upon discharge from hospital we were given his cell number in case of emergency or concerns. A week after her discharge I was pleased when he texted me to see how she was doing. I have never had a doctor do that before. His treatment has resulted in her being seizure free one month later. I am so thankful to this Doctor!
