Arifa Khan provided me with inaccurate advice during my pregnancy, her two-faced left me feeling uneasy. It seemed like her motivations were more centered around financial gain than genuine care for my well-being. I wouldn't trust her guidance, given the 3 appointments I had. I gave her multiple chances and there is just a lack of sincerity. I swapped to someone else, you can find a better OB/GYN anywhere else easily

Lovely staff in reception, always very helpful. Dr Khan took time to listen and explain my situation clearly (not pregnancy care) and go through the options carefully. After the procedure I chose to go ahead with, I had no problems and her follow-up was very helpful.

Read other mixed reviews and I wasn’t sure about her but didn’t know many other options & was recommended by my GP. She gave me poor/wrong advice (Eg. told me I couldn’t have a scan through my vagina because I haven’t had intercourse - WRONG). And in the end, basically said she “couldn’t help me”. Rushed my ‘final’ appointment with her & then ‘kicked’ me out. Might seem ‘friendly’ at first but you could find a WAY better doctor that actually cares. PLEASE!

Our journey started with Dr. Khan in April 2021. My wife had scars from the first pregnancy as it was supex complex, and she never wanted a second child given the worst experience and issues with the 1st born.We made an appointment with Dr. Arifa Khan, for a desire to have a second child for given complexity in 1st born, she gave us the roadmap and think in 6 weeks if we want to move forward with the pathway advised.Dr. Khan did IVF after reviewing results in almost 1 year of complex testing ( by other specialists in Westmead) where our bloods were sent to the US. It took us almost 2 years, and we could say she is a real blessing. She was so empathetic, experienced, and wonderful in every appointment of her high-risk pregnancy, which she enjoyed this time and was working till 2 weeks before delivery. She picked up issues so quickly, tacked them, and delivered us a healthy young baby this Feb. She is God sent to deliver our firstborn 's well awaited sibling after 6 years. We both believe she is impeccable in what shedoes, and even her staff Jaya and Meredith are so awesome and lovely. We thank her from the bottom of our heart ❤️ and ye, Dr. Khan, you are the best obstetrician in SAN and Norwest and possibly Sydney. You even saved us heaps by recommending us the swaddle program. Now, for those folks with negative reviews who say they feel rushed, go to your GP for questions, not a specialist obstetrician. Specialists are busy, and they are human, too. Don't judge a book by its cover in the first appointment, You are at a loss. Our 2 year journey is evidence and had almost 50% success, but with Dr. Khan's passion and knowledge, we have a baby in our hands, making it 100%! She is the type of doctor to give you bad "medical advice", cause an accident due to negligence and then put all the blame on you. Worst doctor you can ever see, avoid her like the plague!

I had a terrible experience with Dr Arifa. Found her to be lacking empathy and dismissive of my problems . I also found her to be narrow minded and misogynistic. She didn’t take the time to even read the referral from the gp properly and was jumping into conclusions without gathering full information. Being a healthcare professional myself I can say for sure that her conduct was unprofessional. Considering the waiting period to see a specialist is so lengthy in Australia I would not recommend anyone else waste their time and money on her.

She is one of the best doctors around! My wife's second pregnancy and she took care of it unlike her doctor during her first pregnancy, Her assistants are caring and always helpful!
