My 18 month old needed her adenoids and tonsils removed and Dr Desmarais was outstanding. He was very cautious in the beginning as she was very young for the procedure, so he was definitely not too eager to operate until he was convinced that it was necessary. When he did, the procedure was done quickly and she was happy and comfortable the entire time, with no complications. His bedside manner is second to none and my toddler who is terrified of doctors loved him. I cant recommend him enough.

Horrible experience overall. Got taken to surgery which he botched now I am worse off than before I went to him. I'm now left with a exorbitantly high bill and worse condition. Unsure of himself. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr Desmarais correctly diagnosed and successfully treated my sinus condition with surgery in 2012. Excellent bedside manner, listens and focuses on helping you during the appointment (I've been to specialists who fiddle with their phones). Expensive, yes but I would say for being able to sleep, smell, taste and breathe (even during the flu - worst case using a neti pot) and not take sinus meds in all these years absolutely worth it. Arranging an appointment was difficult as doctor was fully booked 2/3months in advance.
