Dr T'ien has been my urologist for 5 or 6 years. I have always found him knowledgeable, helpful, and collaborative with me as the patient when there were options to be discussed and a path of treatment to be chosen His explanations of medical issues have been clear and detailed enough for me to understand, and his 'bedside manner' has been professional and appropriately easy-going.

AFTER HAVING THE "TURP" PROCEDURE DONE BY DR.T'IEN,(WHICH WAS A FAILURE),HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE HE COULD DO,AND i NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.VERY DISSAPOINTED.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM

This was the ultimate worst urologist I have seen. Im 28 year old who has suffered from Kidney stones since I was 18 years of age. After having the basket procedure done 2 times by dr lawen and bailey in halifax vic general I had the ultimate displeasure of having this procedure done by T'ien in dartmouth general Jan 11, 2014 at 10:30am.T'ien tried to push me out the door the night before my procedure fully knowing after my CT scan showed a 4mm stone blocked in my tubes.As I have been through this agnony before in emerg I stuck to my guns and refused to be sent home in pain with a blockage, so I was kept over night at which you could tell he was displeased with.The next day before my basket procedure he was snotty with me when I asked about possibility of not having a stint put in if not needed. was told " You dont have a choice" and stormed off. I was knocked out for the procedure at which they left my watch on my wrist and my t-shirt on.recovery staff questioned why it was still on me
