My experience with Dr Manu Mathur, was way back in 2003 . He performed Artery graft CABBAGE =( mammery ) following a failed stent by another team ... that was 21 years ago and I'm still being cheeky at age 90.. I feel I owe him a 5 star and a Huge Thank You .

wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the excellent care Dr Manu Mathur provided during my father's recent open heart surgery. His expertise and compassion were evident from our very first appointment, and I knew immediately that we were in great hands. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my father's comfort and well-being throughout the entire process were truly remarkable.

I cannot thank him enough for the exceptional care he has provided to my father and the peace of mind you gave to our family during a difficult time. You and your team make an incredible difference in people's lives, and we are truly blessed to have you as our doctor.

Special thanks to his receptionist, Karen. Also very caring and compassionate, which made the whole procedure much easier for us. I appreciate their support throughout the process. We whole heartedly agree with the all the amazing comments and sentiments mentioned in the feedback!
Dr. Mathur operated on my husband on 12th August 2022 after a heart attack more than a week earlier, which required a quadruple bypass.
We were very fortunate to have Dr. Mathur as my husband’s surgeon. He is not only a very skilled surgeon, but he is a very empathetic and compassionate doctor.
Dr. Mathur visited my husband daily – normally outside visiting hours. Before the operation, he told my husband to ask me to wait for him, as he would like to go through the procedures together. I stayed back and he came during the agreed time. He went through the process and procedures with hand drawn diagrams, which helped us to have a better understanding and alleviate any fears that we had.
He also told us that the operation was scheduled for the 11th of August at 1pm; however, if they could not have access to the theatre by that time frame, the operation would be re-scheduled for the following day at 8.00am. The communication was very clear and the anticipations were very well managed, thus we were well prepared and calm for the operation the next morning.
After the operation, Dr. Mathur called me and informed us that everything went well and let me know we could visit my husband later in the day at the ICU. My husband was in ICU for less than 48 hours and was back to the normal ward with very minimal discomfort.
After the ICU, Dr. Manu continued to check on my husband daily until he was discharged a week later.
During the first week of my husband’s convalescence at home, he needed some guidance on the fluctuating BPs and other issues. He rang Dr. Mathur’s office; Karen answered the phone and was very attentive and kind towards our concerns and said that Dr. Mathur would return the call after his surgery. Sure enough, Dr Mathur called back and he helped my husband with his concerns and told him to call ANYTIME should he require further assistance.
We were very blessed to have Dr. Mathur as my husband’s surgeon, and thanks to this amazing doctor, my husband is well on track for a full recovery. He is aiming to be back at the golf course soon!

I owe Dr Mathur immense gratitude for saving my life, not once but twice. He replaced a leaking aorta valve back in 2010. This kept me alive until it started leaking again, 12 years later. I was lucky enough to have Dr Mathur perform my second operation, which again saved my life. This man is not only a brilliant surgeon but also an absolute gentleman. He is a wonderful human being! I have meant to provide a testament for Dr Manu Mathur since 2020. I apologise to Dr Mathur for not previously having done so. Dr Mathur saved my life. On 26th August 2020 he replaced my mitral and aortic valves. I had undergone mitral valve operations twice previously, 1994 and 2013. Dr Mathur not only saved my life but his medical skills gave me a new lease on life. Immediately after the operation I began to feel better than I had for some time. I continue to enjoy a quality of life I didn't think possible to this day. What can you say about a person who saved your life? He wasn't simply doing his job, he went so far above and beyond for me that it is difficult to articulate. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Mathur for any similar surgery. Thank you Dr Mathur.

Dr Mathura operated on my husband on 12th August,2022. We could not be happier with his wonderful ability and skill. He was so easy to talk to and showed great compassion. He gave us confidence and when things became difficult I was so pleased he was in charge. I highly recommend this wonderful surgeon to anyone with heart issues.

Having read all of the comments, I can only agree wholeheartedly with them. He replaced my aneurism in the aorta and valve last June and although I'm still recovering from the surgery, it's great to know that I have a future, whereas before surgery I had none . I can echo everyone's positive comments on Dr Mathur. He performed my triple valve replacement in 2019, and in 2020 removed my sternal wires which were causing me trouble. He's expert, kind, professional, communicative, accessible and highly respected by his peers. In terms of patient experience, he was brilliant.

Not much to say about this man except that he is a brilliant specialist surgeon who almost certainly saved my life. He is an articulate man and is rightly known as one of, or the best Heart surgeon in Australia. I have a degree majoring in communications and I cannot fault Doctor Mathur's patient communication skills.
I will be forever in his debt.
