I only have beautiful things to say about this amazing spine surgeon! After suffering pain for many years, I was told I needed to consult a spine surgeon. I decided to trust my care to Dr. Esteban Cuartas. I met Dr. Cuartas in December 2022, and he performed spine surgery on me on February 2023. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows. His bedside manner at the hospital was awesome. He kept the nurses on their toes, always making sure I was given the best care. They all have great respect for him. I hope Dr. Cuartas realizes how much he has changed my life. After so many years of being house bound due to constant pain, now I go out and enjoy life to the fullest! I can take walks, cook and care for my family more and finally, after so many years, I am able to walk around the mall with my daughter without pain! All thanks to the skills of this amazing surgeon!

First off asked me who had done my surgery which was him.last year he told me my back concerned him more then my neck,when I returned this year I had a mri listing numerous herniated discs long with other problems with back. His statement was to me was nothing wrong with my back and he Dosent go by findings of mri he goes by what he see’s. He asked who did my surgery he did and didn’t remember me which shows me how much he takes interest in his patients. I’ve been following up with him truly for the past 3 years. I found him to to be insensitive, rude, condescending, Dr doesn’t even look at you when he speaks to you he addresses the floor. I asked him how all previous findings were herniated disc, stenosis etc and now I’m healed according to him but I still have constant pain he comment to me was it’s all in my head. Dr should take lessons from his Staff they are caring loving individuals . Also when you ask him a question he never actually answers concerns just shrugged his shoulders with attitude. All I can say is according to him I am healed , according to other doctors and mri reports say different. Wish I had read reviews before He was referred to me. I would of went else where

Very insensitive , brushed my problem off like it was nothing because surgery wasn't an option for me . He downplayed other doctors . I don't recommend him !

Dr Cuartas is a vey kind and wonderful doctor, he explained how he was going to repair the disc in my lower back. He also explain if I went back to doing high - intensity training , that I would be seeing him sooner then I think.That’s a doctor that cares .
He explain what exercise I could and couldn’t do . This was the first time I had dr Cuartas but not my first back surgery. He was able to go over my previous Cut and make it look so much better, he could of given me a railroad but he did, Now tell me if this doctor doesn’t care and when he is running late or behind he always apologize . People have to learn how to be patience. I can’t say enough good thing about Dr Cuartas.

Dr.Cuartas and his pain management Dr Sanz. The Worst Experience Ever!!!!!They are the most Arrogant Insensitive, pompous, Asses I have ever come across . These two doctors need to stick to what they went to school for. Both these doctors made comments on medical issues outside their area of expertise . There are many good doctors out there. These two are not!!!

I think I experienced one of the most insensitive doctors I have ever seen in my 49 years of life, not to mention the over an hour wait time for each visit. Shame on you!

Dr. Cuartas was very insensitive when I saw him. I had just been assaulted by a large man and had suffered facial bone fractures and whiplash. His best advice was that I should return to work as soon as possible as opposed to seeking psychological services for treatment mentally. He also commented on medical areas outside of his area of expertise. Furthermore he denied the power of my god Jesus to heal me which was the most offensive part of the experience. Again, he came across as very insensitive which was truly a disappointment. All I was hoping for was that he would examine my neck and upper spine and verify that I have no serious injuries.

Just had lumbar surgery from dr cuartas. He made me feel comfortable and explained all my options. He is very friendly and kind. My leg pain is gone right after surgery. He checked on me daily at hospital. He is very compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone. He took a while to get to appointment however, we spent more than an hour together the first appointment and never felt like he was rushing me out of the office.
