Dr Tracy is fantastic, I have been going to her for over 5 years. She is very knowledgeable, she has helped me heal my adrenals, and hormones as well as get my thyroid stable for the first time ever. I continue to see her for maintaining my health. Best decision I have made was to switch naturopaths. I finally fell great at 58!
The staff are very helpful and friendly as well.

She treated a young child's meningitis with herbal tinctures and the child later died. You should probably know that before you consider going to her. Naturopathic treatments are not legitimate.

I've been seeing Dr Tannis for about a year or two. People here are dismissing naturopathic doctors as snake oil salesmen (one review here) or saying to see a "real" doctor (another review). I don't see these kinds of comments as taking into account all of the circumstances that arise in real life.

I wouldn't see a naturopath to get surgery or to diagnose cancer or something. You have to use the correct doctor for the correct function. If you can't figure that out, that's on you.

I never trust even "real" doctors 100%. I've had "real" doctors lie to me, not test me when they should have and caused me to become even more ill for not taking preventative actions, test me and discover something but never bother to tell me or treat me for the issue. Just go read the reviews for "real" doctors. They misdiagnose people and accidentally kill people all of the time. Every one of them. So I think you have to take personal responsibility for your own health care, and in this particular system, the only way to do that is to see a naturopath. My current doctor, for instance, refused to test my Vitamin D levels, saying to me, "you don't have any symptoms for Vitamin D deficiency." Jut prior to this, I had severe iron anemia but no one knew because 3 different "real" doctors refused to give me an iron test. Finally, when I came in with dizziness and a myriad of other symptoms while my regular doctor was on vacation, another doctor ran an iron test. It turned out that I had low iron levels, but when my regular doctor returned, he told me the results showed that I was fine. But then a few days later, I looked at the results and saw that I had very low iron levels, in the single digits. He never even told me or suggested I take iron or anything. That's when I contact Dr Tannis. I also changed doctors at that point. I spoke with my new doctor about vitamin D deficiency. He refused to test me for it because he said I didn't have the symptoms of vitamin D deficiency. Of course it turns out that my vitamin D levels were low, too. Having testing done at the naturopath is the only way to get any proper treatment for certain kinds of conditions. "Real" doctors only seem to care about health issues when you're lying on your death bed. They don't care about routine care or prevention.

Someone also said here that she doesn't know what she's talking about. In my experience, I've been very impressed with her medical knowledge. I consider her to be basically a real doctor. She can talk at a sophisticated level about real medical conditions and get into the nitty gritty of the mechanisms of the way the human body works, or she can talk at a more overview level in common layman's terms. I'm in a pre-med program, so I appreciate it when doctors explain things in a more intricate way, and she has done that with me. I don't doubt her medical knowledge even in the slightest.

Just another snake oil salesperson. Naturopathic "medicine" is a pseudoscience and a scam. Do your research. It doesn't actually help anybody. Save your money and see a REAL doctor.

I went to Dr. Tracey after being unable to get in with my local naturopath for many many weeks and was in desperate need of acupuncture treatment.
When I initially booked the appointment, I told the front staff that I needed an acupuncture session. They said that since I have never been there before, it would be a bit longer appointment. Not once did they mention that there was an increased cost of the consultation plus the acupuncture. It ended up being quite expensive (more than I had originally budgeted for) and was never informed that they do not direct bill.
I felt incredibly uncomfortable the minute I stepped into her office. I should've listened to my gut and walked out right away.
The staff at the front acted surprised when I showed up for my appointment and scrambled to get the paperwork together. I filled out the paperwork and Dr. Tracey took me back to her room moments later. She was quite opinionated about what is "right" / "wrong" in treatments. She asked why I was there and I explained that it was for an acupuncture treatment. She explained that she's been doing this for many years and acted quite egocentric.
When she placed the acupuncture needles in, she went in way too deep and caused further inflammation in my body. It was so uncomfortable but I felt as though I couldn't tell her otherwise. It was incredibly painful. For weeks afterwards, I had severe pain in the areas where the needles went in. I've had acupuncture for years, by physiotherapists as well as naturopaths. I have never had the needles go in that deep. If you had a client whom you have never seen before, why would you put them in so deep unless that's what the client requested?
Needless to say, I did not return.

I learned my lesson!
She treated my abdominal pain with list of fungal treatments. I ended up in ER and thanks to a “REAL” Dr, I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. My own fault for going to these so called “Drs”

Nice staff. Nice environment.
Takes about 30 seconds of hearing this person try to convey "medical knowledge" to realize she has no idea what she's talking about.
