I saw Dr. Hennessy a few years back & I found her excellent in every way. I was very pleased with her care, concern and knowledge. She was very thorough in her investigations. I could not say one negative thing about her. My husband saw her years later at VGH for kidney stone removal by laser & he commented how impressed he was with her too. Their office is very busy so not everyone may be happy about that, but the staff are excellent at appointment reminders & about test appointments etc. Office staff seem very organized for such a busy office & have to be.

I believe doctor Hennessey is a good Doctor but for me she has lost the human side possibly just to busy . I have great test results that i had to find out from my family doctor because she didn’t bother to let me know . After reapeatead attemps to meet with her I was finally given a time but was just cancelled . 2 months now and I’m not likely to see her after getting upset with the staff.

Dr. Hennessey is one of the best doctor's I've ever had. She patiently answers any question, even the silly ones, and she does whatever she can to put the patient at ease. I am so happy to have her as my urologist.

Last September I was diagnosed with having 2 very large stones in my right kidney. When meeting with Dr. Hennessy she was personable, but professional and extremely patient with my never-ending questions. The solution decided upon, after extensive discussion was to have these mammoth stones removed by undergoing the PNL operation (minimal invasive surgury to have large stones removed). For a number of reasons, I had to cancel my operation several times and every time her administrator, Cina was very accommodating and kind, taking any tension away from an already stressful situation. During the actual procedure, Dr. Hennessey was successful at removing both stones from my kidney. Post-op, I felt great and recovery up until now has been a breeze. I also had a stent place inside my bladder, which was naturally causing some discomfort. When I phoned Cina for assurance, she was able to get the message across to Dr. Hennessy and I received a phone call from her within 20 minutes. In short every time I've dealt with them this last year they have both been amazing! They have restored my faith in the healthcare profession and I think Dr. Hennessy is an example of the best practices that all doctors should strive for.

I heard a lot of good reviews about this doctor both verbal and publications. It's a pity the receptionist/staff at MetroVan Urology where she works sucks. Very rude, and unhelpful. She shouldn't have to put up with her employer's deficiency.

Very caring and knowledgeable Dr..I was diagnosed with bladder Ca and had surgery the next week. The follow up care has been excellent.

I have no complaints about Dr K. Hennessey. She is knowledgeable, helpful and follow sup personally with her patients, although she is usually 10-15 minutes late but this is due to the backlog! However I have an issue with the Asian lady who is on the telephone and sometimes takes care of the appointments. She is borderline rude and needs to upgrade her phone skills as well as her english. She should be sent on a course(s) to learn those she sounds OK when meeting her in person. She needs to remember that patients = clients!
