I agree how can ARROGANCE mean and equal 5 shining stars ! I seen him at the st Boniface hospital a couple days after being in the ER in agony. I am not well, and was treated disrespectfuly by him being talked down too by him. Oh yes he likes the nice looking ladies and was very friendly
to them maybe thats the 5 star people. Well there are other ill people who want to be treated like human beings also. In my opinion this man just could care less to hear me , just said i can take meds if i wanted no CT no imaging to confirm an issue. Nothing done , just dismissed, I have some med school knowledge which he was not privy to,so I made a request and asked a question and boy was i put in my place . He just demonstrated an attitude he's top of his profession, chip on his shoulder type. Obviously if you present at an ER with rocket high lipase numbers along with other symptoms a wee bit investigating further is a sane course to follow-up with. Why go to rate a dr , why put this review in here ? Because i care about people , and want to warn people this dr dana moffat seen me in pain in the ER and left me in a follow-up appointment the same way, in pain , doing no investigating doing nothing . Why go to med school if you don't really care about people ? Money and ski trips.

Looking through all of these ratings and I have no idea how there are so many five star reviews. I’ve had ulcerative colitis for 2 years and I still have never met Doctor Moffat in person. The only interaction I’ve ever had with him are through these 5 minute phone calls that he is routinely an hour late for and rushes to end the conversation after 5 minutes. He never answers my questions thoroughly and is keen to jump to the next patient’s appointment as soon as possible. In my personal opinion he seems more focused on other ventures in his life than the personal well-being of his patients and it shows in his disconnected and disinterested approach to medical care.

I have been seeing Dr. Dana Moffatt for almost eight years. He has been only kind, caring, and wonderful to me and my daughter, who is also his patient. He is smart, very thorough, always does his very best for me. He is very thoughtful and really listens to my questions and concerns, and always puts me at ease. Dr. Moffatt has always promptly ordered any tests or procedures that I may require. I could not recommend a more highly respected Doctor in his field! He is a wonderful person too! His staff has only been kind and great with me too! I am blessed to know him and have him on my health team!

Knowledge yes. Caring , considerate , active listener?? definitely not ! Neither is his receptionist. I have been dealing with him for years and he couldn't be bothered to treat my son with respect. Neglected to check in my son for a couple years. Definitely don't recommend going to see him .

Dr Dana Moffat is one of the best doctors I've ever had. Always had new treatment options for me if the previous didn't work. Before my colectomy, he tried everything he could do to save my colon, for that I will be forever grateful for him

I have been seeing Dr. Moffatt for almost 8 years now. He has only been kind, and wonderful to me! He always takes the time to listen, discuss, any medical problems I am having. He is direct, but I love that about him! He has gone beyond trying to help me, and keeps an eye on my disease. He is very thorough, does, tests, and any other procedures I need in a timely manner! His staff has been wonderful to me always. I am blessed to have Dr. Moffatt as my GI Specialist, he is the very best and top in his field! I respect him immensely!I thank him for his tireless support to me over all these years!

Dr. Moffat is a knowledgeable GI specialist and someone whose opinion I respect. I have found he listens and answers questions clearly, including being open to my thoughts on how to proceed. He is very direct, matter of fact and some may not like that -- I appreciate his willingness to cut to the chase.

I have been with Dr. Moffat for many years. He is to-the-point and I appreciate that about him. Personable - but also doesn’t sugar coat anything or drag things out - he discusses things openly and with solutions in mind. I always feel like I’m in the loop with my health updates. He has also made me feel comfortable for flex sigs etc (which has not been the case with previous gastros). He was supportive throughout a very difficult pregnancy and I am grateful for him (and nurse Heather!!) for the prompt healthcare & close supervision to make sure I was ok.

I saw dr moffat for a sigmoidoscopy (I am a younger female ) and I was extremely uncomfortable at the thought of the procedure before going. He was so so kind and made it very easy and I didn’t feel any pain or distress. I was in and out quickly. I wish he was my doctor all the time for my condition.
