Dr Nyer has been my our family doctor for over 20 years. He and his team go above being your typical doctor's office. The staff is friendly. knowledgeable, and very professional. Dr Nyer is thorough and explains everything. He'll call you in a timely manner with the results of lab work. I appreciate that he just doesn't write you a prescription. Additionally, we rarely have to wait to be seen. I value Dr. Nyer's expertise. My husband and I moved out of the Bronx. But, we'll travel several hours for our routine visits. I won't trust my health to anyone else. I highly recommend Dr Nyer.

My insurance assigned him to me and the office was able to book me an appointment within the same week. Ran a little behind but a doctors office is a doctors office. they all run behind usually. anyway a Very good dr.

Absolutely in love with this office and Dr. Nyer. Slightly sarcastic but makes me laugh which eases my comfort as I get doctor visit anxiety frequently. Sees me the same day if not him than his NP's who also follow up with you afterwards if needed. Couldn't ask for anything better in a doctor

Absolutely in love with this office and its staff. They make you feel like family. I feel very safe here and trust Dr. Nyer wholeheartedly. He does NOT rush! My family loves him too I hope he never retires.

Dr. Nyer has been treating me for almost 15years now and I have absolutely NO complaints. I had no doctors 15 years ago when I had a heart attack followed by a double bypass, followed by a lung resection, followed by a tracheostomy and other procedures. I believe that with Montefiore's care and his follow up care, I have been ahead of the game for 15 years.
He was referred to me by a friend, and has become my go to doctor for anything I .ay require. I have no complaints whatsoever, his staff is excellent, and Esther runs the office as it should be....EFFICIENTLY!
As for his spending time on the PC it's a sign of the times. He has to update your chart in Real Time.

Can be a bit sarcastic.Is a good dr though.Office staff is great except for his shouting wife to the patients no less.Just because her husband is the owner of the practice doesn't give her liscense to be disrepectful to the patients.How dare they ask a question.Getting back to dr nyer he hardly looks at you during the exam.He's too busy typing on the pc that he rolls in on the pc cart.At first I thought he was rolling in an hordeves cart.
