Much the same poor experience with an implant as others have said. Having mine removed by another periodontist. Sure wish Dr M would refund some of the expense.

I was referred to Dr. McCulloch by my regular dentist after expressing concerns about an abscess tooth. At my initial appointment, Dr. McCulloch took pocket depth measurements (which, for some reason, were greater than what other dentists before and after him had measured) and noted in my chart that my lymph node was tender and I was in pain. He did not offer any antibiotics for my infected tooth. Dr. McCulloch then prescribed a treatment plan of 12 units (3 hours) of root planing as well as flap approach surgery to sextants 3, 5, 6 & 8. The total cost: $4,500. Feeling skeptical, I got a second opinion. Turns out I needed a single root canal, and the flap approach surgery was completely unnecessary. If you are at all skeptical about the treatment plan offered to you, I STRONGLY recommend you get a second opinion.

Very professional and caring. Had a tooth removed, he calls the next morning to see how you are doing. Informs you of what to watch for and gives you his cell number to call in case it happens. The mouth is a sensitive area and surgeries can go wrong, so to show this level of concern for his patients is wonderful. Knowing he can be contacted if necessary is comforting.

I couldn’t use the implant tooth that was done by this dentist. Every time I use the tooth, my gum hurt very bad, there is a big space between the bottom of two teeth. I am suffering. The shape is like “T” which should be like “inverted trangle”. I spend extra money to have consultation with few dentists and specialists, I was advised that the implant was too thin for the molar, and it was to short room for the crown. I went to see dr. Mcculloch as well, he said nothing wrong with the implant, I felt regular dentists have more knowledge regarding implant than him. My family dentist Mark Jefferey is a very nice dentist, he changed the crown for me many times, but it couldn’t work.

He has poor professional judgment. He undertook the installation of a series of dental implants and deliberately failed to stretch them to cover the entire jawline, for no valid reason. Restorative dentistry here, leaves you with Appalachian dentition. It will require considerable extra expense to correct this.

Had a tooth extraction done and was sent there by my dentist. I was so comfortable during the whole procedure. He is very gentle and very kind and explains everything very well. I will recommend him to anyone and wish he was my actual dentist!

Dr McCulloch is extremely gentle and caring. I had a crown lengthening procedure which was totally pain free. I highly recommend Dr McCulloch and his excellent staff.
