Dr. Kaufman is an excellent marriage therapist. He helped us with co-parenting counseling in the midst of a very rocky separation. From my perspective, my spouse was uncommunicative, uncooperative, and litigious. He was a balanced mediator and helped us to cooperate as much as possible when discussing parenting issues. He did everything he could to help us avoid court, though my spouse was set on pursuing a custody arrangement that was unreasonable (in the eyes of the court as well). Co-parenting counseling was a positive experience in the midst of many negative elements of the separation.
