Dr Perry Rush was my mom’s rheumatologist for many years until he closed his office. Dr Rush is a highly knowledgeable rheumatologist who is caring and takes time with his patients. His office manager Marlene is an efficient and kind person. They both always treated my mom and I with utmost respect and care.
My mom was also treated by Dr. Rush at St. John’s Rehab after she had fallen and once again, he was amazing! A dedicated specialist with a heart of gold.

He saved my life and I owe him my life
Again after many years, I am able to walk, breathe and run without pain.
In my opinion, he is the son of God on earth.
He worked with all his heart for the patients and never ever changed.

I am living in Kitchener but I loved still to be one of his patients, unfortunately, He has decided to close up the office and I miss him!

I believe that I posted a comment a year or so ago. Since then COVID started and I feel the need to update my comment. I also moved and had the misfortune to lose my family doctor but I still have Dr. Rush. He is working fulltime now at one of the hospitals but is still taking care of his patients. He never forgets to call after I have a test done and he never neglects to ask if I have any other questions. His patience and kindness is amazing and could not ask for a better doctor. Of course, it is always also very important to have a good receptionist and Marlene is just what you need when you are in pain and need help. Two angels taking care of me and I am so glad to have them. Thank you.

Dr. Rush is very punctual, knowlrdgeble and caring. He also repects his patient's decision making. I highly recommend him, and respect his opinion. Also, his secretary is wonderful- always reminds about the appoitments, and tries her best to book a patient in even on the short notice.

It takes time to get to know your specialist. The more I see of Dr. Rush, the more I respect him. He is caring, very thorough, asks lots of questions wanting to know about any issues, very observing and noticing even small details. Unlike a lot of doctors especially specialists Dr. Rush also does not 'talk down' to me but makes me feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

Dr. Rush is extremely punctual and very knowledgeable. I agree with the comment that if he is not sure of the question asks he honestly says "he does not know". However, he is willing to send you to someone who might know and doesn't feel slighted by this. His assistant is wonderful, helpful and pleasant at all times. Dr. Rush has helped me tremendously for which I thank him.

This is by far the most punctual doctor I've seen so far. If your appointment is at 11am, you will get seen at 11am. The clinic is not busy, the secretary is great, dr. Rush himself is very personable and takes his time with a patient, answers all the questions, tries to help with everything he can help with. Overall, one of the best experiences I've seen with doctors so far. I rate his knowledge as 5, with the perspective that medicine cannot help with everything. At least, he's not afraid to say 'I don't know'.
