Dr Tobin is an amazing Doctor. Very knowledgable and caring. I continue to visit her clinic ONLY because of her. Her staff has changed over in the last year and the hygienist is the worst. Pushy, dosen't listen and only tries to 'up sell' you by scarring you about the condition of your teeth and gums. It's a shame, because Dr. Tobin truly cares about her patients.

Very knowledgeable in holistic dentistry incl. root canals & mercur. She also has training in using ozone for which is why I went to her and after several injections it looks as though the molar will be saved. She answers all of my questions and is professional. Her staff are really nice and polite. AND if you don't want the tv on just ask for it to be turned on. They have it there for you to watch while she's drilling to distract you except that when she was working on me she looked at the tv a couple times to see what was going on. I thought that was REALLY unprofessional. Makes you feel like she's not paying attention. I also found out that Dr. Brian McLean fills in for her - Don't let this guy near you. He's angry at the system and takes it out when he's working on you-I've seen him in the passed. All in all Dr. Tobin is by far the best holistic dentist I've found in ON, better than Dr. Fortinsky who is so preventative he doesn't do anything!

Ewa Tobin looks great on paper... but... There is an absent feeling about her in person. I had a complex problem and she took some impressions and asked for some time to think about it (good sign). I had chosen her based on her natural approach to dentistry and her membership in IAOMT. Unfortunately, her solution was very old school and she sent in insurance paperwork despite my having rejected her proposal. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and the hygenist is knowledgeable, although the cleaning was not deep enough. A pet peeve of mine: TVs on all the time above the chair--staff all seemed to be watching Anderson Cooper and were marginally distracted... I did not have restorative work performed so I cannot comment on her workmanship.

Saw Dr. Tobin for a second opinion after having an extraction by another dentist and not getting proper follow up treatment. She immediately diagnosed osteo-necrosis and sent me for surgery. She, and her staff are wonderful. Would highly recommend this office.
