Dr Hance was the first Dr. that told me that my knees were bad. I had one total knee replacement and am very pleased. I have no hesitation when having my other knee done soon. His office staff was very accommodating in preparing me for my operation.

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a doctor's office! When scheduling, the receptionist said that she would not make an appointment without my insurance information. I told her that by law she was required to do so. She put me on hold for ten minutes and then grudgingly made the appointment. Before the doctor came in, I told the nurse that I preferred to not have x-rays, but would consent if necessary. Dr. Hance came in and seemed insulted right away that I didn't want x-rays. I tried to explain to him why my shoulder was hurting and when the injury happened, but he cut me short and didn't ask any questions. He didn't look at the injured shoulder. He simply told me there was nothing he could do unless I got an x-ray. I was angry and complained that he hadn't even tried to gain an understanding of my injury. He yelled insults at me and STORMED out of the office!! I was in shock. He told me I should show myself out. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and mean a doctor could be.
