I first saw him to discuss a knee replacement. He said I was too young. I was in my early 50s and he said he wouldn't consider it til I was 60. After two years of injections stopped helping I asked for some pain meds, which he gave me. After a year of pain meds he grumpily informed me that he was not a pain manager and said I should consider knee replacement. Hello! That's what I asked for to begin with! I found him to be very uncompassionate and cold. He left the practice shortly thereafter and another surgeon took over my case, was very compassionate and did my surgery. I have great quality of life. Good riddance to Dr. Ronquist!

I first saw Dr. Ronquist in the Emergency Room and he was extremely helpful. My pain level was off the chart as I had so many bone fragments broken in my knee plus the knee cavity had filled in with blood and was very swollen. They worked hard to get my pain under control and, once he operated the pain was very manageable. His bed side manners were fabulous and he is one of the more compassionate physicians I have ever met. Some physicians act God-like and this physician acts very warm and human. He did an excellent job in repairing my leg and sadly, he is leaving the community. He is going to Virginia, Minnesota and their gain is definitely our loss. I wish him the best as, he deserves to be in a good practice and with other caring professionals.
