Two of the office staff are quite rude. Called for a prescription refill in the AM that was disparately, needed. B told me to call pharmacy later. It was not called in. I called B before end of day, and it went to the answering service EARLY. It was called in the next day. Once when in severe pain, and called for a refill. I was treated like a junkie by B. What I actually wanted strong ibuprofen. Another time, I was told that they would send in a form for a return to work. Work never got it. I called, and B said, "Well there's a charge for that." WHY COULDN'T SHE INFORM ME WITHIN THE 2 WEEKS IT SAT THERE? I ran right out and paid her. Another time, M put a 'money due' on my account. They found out that I HAD PAID IT. The Dr. is good, but the visits are getting shorter and shorter.

He took his time and really got to know me as a new patient. I have never had a doctor spend as much time speaking to me as he did. I am an RN and found that he was very knowledgeable regarding my medical issues. He went indepth into my family history and spent almost 45 minutes talking to me. I was very impressed and have recommended him to friends and family. His staff was pleasant and friendly on the phone and were professinal in the office, made eye contact and engaged in appropriate small talk with me. I am hoping to be able to keep him as my pcp but am unsure due to the Highmark-UPMC fued.

Seems like he is a knowledgeable doctor. Spent 45 minutes with me as a new patient. Went over the 3 or 4 medical problems I have. Does not seem to believe in issuing a lot of unnecessary medications but went along with the ones I was on and explained what they did better than the specialiest who prescribed them. Staff not that friendly.

His staff are so ignorant to say the least. barbara the med assistant and Dr Pomiecko's wife are very rude and judgemental. Dr himself at first seemed knowledgeable but miss diagnosed me on a few occasions. He is still too new and unexperienced.

Refused to provide a referal to a specialist for severe Acid Reflux. Told me to "look in the Yellow Pages." When I was hospitalized he told me I had pancreatitis but when I followed up with him, he told me he never said that. Refused to discuss diabetes with me even though my twin sister and father have diabetes. Refused to discuss the severe abdominal pain and swelling I have had for over a year. Overall terrible doctor. I am very disappointed. I wasted thousands of dollars on surgeries and trips to the hospital because he refused to listen to me and run the appropriate diagnostic tests. I would never recommend this doctor.
