I have been seeing Linda for about 10 months, I have had the best experience, she has and continues to help me through trauma and tragedy’s I’ve been trying to live with. I am very thankful and grateful I found her through a friend.

Linda has helped myself and so many of my family members reprocess trauma and to finally be able to live a life unencumbered by triggers. Linda's authentic presence helped me quickly feel at ease and know that I was in the presence of someone genuine and caring. Because of that, I was able to open up to her about my deepest pain, quicker than other therapists I've seen. She knows how to beautifully blend connecting on a human to human level, and also how to dig deep in those tender and triggering areas that need support and healing. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone needing a highly trained trauma therapist. She is full of heart and cares deeply about her work and her clients.

I went to see Linda for EMDR to help process some of my own trauma and early attachment wounds. I noticed myself being triggered more often from these experiences and wanted to find some relief. Her relational, trauma informed and attachment focused approach helped me immensely and I felt immediate relief. She also knew when to push me outside of my comfort zone in a respectful and skillful manner. She is an expert at what she does and someone I would highly recommend to anyone seeking out treatment to help with processing early and/or complex trauma.

She just talked about her own problems the whole time and made me speak of my own trauma without any source of comfort or help whatsoever. She was just making me recall it all had no positive impact for me whatsoever. I was crying in her office constantly with no empathy or condolence on her part. She said she understood things I said without teying to understand or having any empathy towards my issues at all.

It is insane how such a traumatic memory stored deep within you can be alleviated through Linda's EMDR approach. I was born and raised in Kelowna (F)(21) and struggled with complex trauma-related to parental substance abuse brought on from my childhood. I was recommended to speak with Linda from my current Counsellor and they currently work in tandem to create the perfect therapy integration.

I have personally seen over 10 different versions of Counsellors throughout my 21 years, and with Linda working in Tandem with my ADHD Counsellor, the results are incredible.

After only 2 sessions using the EMDR approach, the guilt, depression and stress within my body that revolved around the traumatic memory since childhood, was alleviated. I was able to think back on the event and genuinely not feel any form of stress or anxiety, whereas before that, I could barely think back on it without intense feelings that overwhelmed me and ran my life.

I have more sessions ahead, and the combination of both Linda Hamm and my Counsellor has been life-changing.

I highly recommend Linda Hamm for anyone struggling. Beyond 5 stars without a doubt. Seriously, she changes lives so people can switch from surviving to actually being able to live. And that is incredible.

Linda is excellent! I came to kelowna 15 years ago. I had many therapists through the years trying to find a good one. I was about to give up and was told about Linda I knew my first session she was good and my search was over. She has helped with my trauma from a motor vechile accident and a abusive relationship. She is very understanding warm kind caring. Helps beyond with things going on in your life. Anything you need help with she will connect you to someone she knows. Way beyond just a hour therapist she cares. I could go on and on she is a awsome woman! Linda definitely has a special place in my heart. Beyond 5 stars!

Linda was very effective in working with my trauma from accidents, none caused by myself. I found her gentle EMDR approach very effective and within 4 sessions pain that I had carried in my body for 10 years and spent thousands of dollars on previously was gone. I found Linda very skilled and compassionate, and recommend her for trauma therapy. She is very down to earth and helpful.

When I started seeing Linda Hamm I was in a really bad place mentally.
She was the only person to ever get through to my parents that as hard as it was for them to deal with my mental illness that I was dealing with so much worse. Dr.Hamm made my parents understand that my life was what was at stake and they needed to support things I did that ment I was planning to stick.
