Looking for a doctor in Kelowna and heard that Dr. Podavin is taking new patients. Knowing the procedure, I asked for a "meet and greet" appontment. Didn't have to wait long either for the appontment or to see him. He asked me questions and entered them into my record on the computer. He told me something about himself and his experience. he answered my questions willingly.

Still can't believe my experience in this clinic! New to Kelowna looking for family dr. & to have prescrip. refilled. Was told Dr. Podavin taking patients. Made 2:30 appt.to refill my pres. for following week. Arrived today at 2:20, at 2:50 asked ladies at desk how much longer. Said would check, got no answer back. Got in just after 3pm. Dr. Podavin came in shortly & asked about family history, drug allergies, etc. Then he turned and looked at me in the middle of asking me questions, & out of the blue said "WELL YOUR 15 MIN. ARE UP YOU WILL HAVE TO COME BACK TO FINISH THIS APPT." I told him I told the lady when I booked that I needed Presc. refilled and he said "this is only a meet & greet, you will have to come back for that." I told him I was not told anything about a M & G when I booked the appt. After some discussion, he finally did give me presc. renewal cause he knew I was so upset. WOULD NOT GO BACK TO THIS MAN AGAIN. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING WORK / PEOPLE ETHICS!
