Dr. Shore delivered my baby in St. Mike’s, she is exceptionally a good doctor, with the least invasive technique. She takes time to explain everything. She also managed my gestational high blood pressure so well.

I saw Dr. Shore to talk about having a hysterectomy. I've had 3 other OBGYNs suggest that as a treatment for my oversized, distorted, fibroid filled uterus that causes me consistent discomfort and extreme pain so bad that I had to call an ambulance after sweating and screaming on the floor for half an hour. The emergency Dr told me that I'm at high risk for ovarian contorsion, which can be life threatening. I can't have sex because it's too painful. And even just getting turned on hurts. I pee all the time and I always feel like I have to pee even though I just peed. My family history has a lot of cancer, and rare cancers. I told her I'm concerned and she rudely told me that she's not going to remove organs because of a concern. And I told her I have all the symptoms, she waved her hand at me rudely and said, ya ya those are all non specific. She didn't have anything prepared for the appointment that I waited months for. She didn't look at the many ultrasounds and CT Scan that I've had in the past few years. She completely ignored that I have other symptoms besides pain and heavy bleeding. I have to wear a diaper it's so bad. She ignored my extremely irregular periods (I'm only 36) that have always been 28 days on the dot until a year ago, when my symptoms started to get worse. My last PAP had abnormal cells but no HPV and I asked what is causing the abnormal cells and she said, oh that doesn't matter and didn't tell me why. She said she's going to prescribe me progesterone, and I said I don't want to take hormones I want a hysterectomy. She said I have to take the progesterone first, just to see if it helps my pain. Sorry, but I'm not a guinea pig. And I'm not going to take progesterone for the next 15 years until menopause because she doesnt want to actually find out whats causing my issues. I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet. Then I have to deal with all the symptoms that come from taking hormones as well as all my other symptoms that aren't being treated. She asked me zero questions about my symptoms. She told me she would schedule an MRI because I asked to know what is actually the problem. I hate when doctors just throw pills at you without knowing what's actually wrong. So at least she was willing to investigate. I don't know if the burnout is just very real for her, or if she really just judges her patients, doesn't care and doesn't listen. I thought St. Mike's was supposed to be the bees knees for gynecology. I was very disappointed. I cried in the room after she left, and the long ride home. I hope the next time I see her she's having a better day and is more open to discussing things and answering my questions.

Always a 1 hour wait for a 3 minute consultation, racist towards Asians. Never have test records in file and never follows up. Not satisfied

I love Dr. SHORE! She's kind, patient and understanding. She spent a lot of time with me for my first consultation and even asked me to call my husband so he could be a part of the chat (COVID times). I wasnt keen on surgery initially but 1 year later, I desperately needed it and she took me on right away. She did a complex procedure and tried to make the smallest incisions possible. My surgery went way longer than expected and there were complications (no fault to her, just my anatomy) and she still did a great job.
She has a weird tendency to talk over you when she wants to say something but whatever, no ones perfect!

I LOVE Dr. Shore! She is intelligent, kind, funny, compassionate and really supportive through my first pregnancy, my miscarriage, and third pregnancy. My only feedback is that in my dream world - it would've been ideal that she was the scheduled on-call OBGYN to deliver my baby girl at St. Mike's.

Dr. Shore is an amazing Doctor and person. She couldn't have been kinder pre and post op for this very nervous patient.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shore for years. She diagnosed me with vulvodynia but recommended no treatment aside from therapy. I saw a local gyno recently for heavy period bleeding and when going over my history she asked how I'm treating the vulvodynia. She was appalled Shore never gave me anything. She gave me suppostories (diazepam and amitriptyline) and omg! I went from living with 24/7 pain to having some normalcy back. I'll never see Shore again, I truly feel she failed me.
