Dr. Lewis listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, was caring, extremely thorough, read the questionaire I completed, was informed about the results of my current and previous tests, examined me, to make his thought out diagnosis. He was professional and I felt heard and respected. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have a doctor who understands and takes my concerns seriously. Dr.Lewis is extremely knowledgeable and has been instrumental in controlling my diabetes issues. He has been a life saver and I would strongless refer him to anyone dealing with diabetes issues

I was left x 6 months when my Hypothyroid went into Hyperthyroid and his Secretary kept telling him but not once did he phone x6 months… I had to get a FD to help me which he did immediately !

Given his position in a prestigious hospital, he is probably a very knowledgeable doctor and medical researcher. However, i have personally benefited very little from him. He appears to be polite, but he did not offer me much practical help. Now I am seeing another doctor who may not be well-known as an academic, but my diabetes is in much better control. The lesson that I have learned is, go to someone who can help you, big titles don't always matter.
