Dr.Simms is amazing! Saddened to hear of his retirement but I hope he enjoys it! We need more doctors like him, I will never forget him! Wish you all the best 💯

Dr Simms saved my life and that of my sons I had started hemorrhaging and now my son is 6 and the love of my life. I love Dr Simms.

After a recent surgery, I had some minor complications. Dr Simms has called me several times at home over the long weekend to check on me. His care has been outstanding! He never makes you feel rushed at appointments and takes the time to explain throughly. I cannot recommend him enough. He is an amazing doctor and Arlene is wonderful at the desk

Dr. Simms is the most caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He cared for me during my pregnancy where I had a lot of issues and scary moments - he took the time to make sure I was comfortable, answered all my questions and never rushed appointments. His receptionist Arlene is awesome as well ! He does run late for appointments sometimes because he likes to give his patients all the time they need - didn’t bother me personally.

Dr Simms helped me many years ago. I am searching to find a way to contact for surgical notes. I have tear issue suffering and regular GP and ER doc doesn't care. I need help. So few doctors are caring actually a doctor to help people today. May God bless Dr Simms.

I met Dr Simms for an emergency DNC and he is super soft spoken and extremely understanding and knowledgeable about what I was going through. I felt very comfortable that he was going to make sure that my procedure went well and he in fact called the next day to make sure that I was feeling well and was doing ok. I have never had a doctor do that and that makes him that much more special. I’m glad that I choose Alliston hospital in my case of emergency situation . I can’t thank them all enough. .

Richard Simms has been my gyno for the past several years and I find him to be very thorough, highly compassionate and a genuine caring person. He is very meticulous in terms of keeping good notes and follow up. He calls me after procedures to make sure Im doing ok, and emails me referrals after we spoken about other issues. He always seems happy, engaged and very curteous.
