I saw Dr Varner at the ER at Mount Sinai Hospital, like other reviews here, she is incredible. 5/5 stars doesn't even feel enough. She makes you feel like a human, she explains things so clearly and provides evidence from research all the while validating you and providing much more empathy than I think I've seen put together across several interactions with care providers. It seems like this behaviour is so consistent with who she is and I truly feel lucky and blessed to have encountered her on such a difficult day in my life after having gone through something so traumatic.

If you get Dr. Varner as your doctor, count your blessings. She is nothing but compassionate, and helpful. She is what every doctor should be, I went into the ER with chest pain and she diagnosed me quickly and took the time to be available as the diagnosis was a shock. I cannot say enough good things about her. Dr. Varner if you’re reading this you are an amazing doctor, thank you very much.

The best part of Dr Varner is the way she speaks to you and treats you like a real human. There’s countless ER doctors (I understand they do go through stressful times) that act annoyed somewhat or don’t take you seriously. She takes the time to understand and doesn’t make you feel small. I also went in with a severe headache (that had lasted several weeks that was no longer responding to medication) and she finally cured me and gave me the relief I needed! We need more doctors like Dr. Varner!

The ER was packed, but despite that, she was very kind and took the time to understand me, which is definitely what I needed since I was frustrated, in pain and needed help. She was great.

I saw Dr. Varner in emergency at Mount Sinai. She was very kind and considerate, especially given that it was difficult for me to describe the symptoms of a heart problem. She was efficient and thorough with tests and processes. I am grateful for her and MSH.

Saw Dr. Varner at ER at MSH. She took the time to listen to my complaints, was compassionate and sincere. She provided appropriate referral. I felt relieved and settled after my visit. She is a model doctors and we NEED more doctors like her.

I was seen by Dr. Varner at the ER of MSH. She was extremely compassionate and professional. She explained my condition and the likely causes clearly, as well as the treatment she was prescribing for me. She came to check up on me several times while I was in the ER and even brought me warm blankets. I am seriously thinking about naming my next child after her - that’s how good she was.

If there were more stars i would. She was so compationate with my elderly mother with Alzheimers. Sh actually put us into tears. That is how amazing she is.
