Reading Dr. Williams previous reviews, she is obviously an excellent doctor, however, she and her surgical team failed to listen to me today. I rarely complain, but I felt I must state what happened during
my colonoscopy prcedure today. I have had 3 previous colonoscopies and each time I remained fully awake and in extreme discomfort, despite sedation. I have read that Redheads, like myself, have a resistance to sedation. I clearly expressed my experience to the admitting nurse, the surgical nurse, the intern in training who assisted and Dr. Williams, just before the procedure commenced. I am not one to complain, but it must have been obvious to the surgical team I was in extreme discomfort during the procedure. I should have spoken out, however Dr. Williams never once asked me about my pain level during the procedure, despite my input prior to it's commencement. I hope she reads this and acts accordingly to prevent this painful experience for her future patients. I will certainly be more outspoken during my next colonoscopy!

Dr. Williams is amazing. She cared for me at the VG hospital in Halifax. The care and attention I received was outstanding. I wish she could still be my doctor because I would fly to Ottawa to have her follow me going forward. Ottawa you are so lucky to have her.

DR lara rocks ; nuf said. after a year of pain and misery under the care of these so called doctors in truro, I was rushed to Halifax when they found the problem and performed surgery. I am truly gratefull to these people for saving my life.

One of the most professional, intelligent, knowledgeable doctors in our healthcare system. Her bedside manner was excellent, her surgery work was nothing less than stellar. Her commitment to colorectal issues is unsurpassed. I am not only thankful that she was my surgeon, I am fortunate that she was my surgeon. She saved my husband's life- and is known as the best of them out there. She has a gift- a god send. I owe her everything. Thank goodness for her expertise and bedside manner and communication skills. She really does care, and it shows.
