I have been seing Docotor Jym for about 3 years, I find his bedside manor to be insulting to his patients.He has not helped me understand my diease in any waY. He has made me feel as if I don't matter to him as a patient.In my case he is not even sure of what kind of kidney diease I suffer from nor does he care,or at least that is the impression I get from him.I undrestand that he is over worked ,but that is no excuse to treat his patients the way he does.I am to see him once a year and have blood work done repeatedly. This hasn't happened for over several months ,and oh guess what I have never even recieved a call about why he hasn't recieved any blood work from me or even seen me. Busy is busy but that is just stupid.

Dr. Jim has been my primary doctor for 12 years now and as much as I hate to say it I think he is slowly going downhill as far as patient care goes.He is very intelligent and knowledgable in his career but hasn`t got the compassion or bedside manner that he shouild have anymore.Being a long term patient of his I get the feeling that he doesn`t care anymore about his patients,just the paycheck.I find him arrogent and wouldn`t be seeing him if I had the choice.However,being the only nephrologist in Red Deer I don`t have that choice.

Dr. Jim was very patient with me. He answered all my questions and spoke with respect. He is a very kind and professional Doctor in my opinion.

Both my mom and I are Dr. Jim's patient's. He is an excellent Dr., caring,knowledgable and will spend as much time as you need with you day or night. I feel confident in his care!

On 2 occasions my family had treatment by Dr. Jim. I agree knowledgeable but follow through and completness can be an issue

I agree with earlier person who says he great. He very special guy. He come to see me in hospital at strange hours like 1130 at night. That because nurses say he pretty much live at hospital. He is a better doctor than Trapper John and Hawkeye. Very very smart and handsome to.
