I have had reflux since January 2019. Have seen a gastroenterologist and had a series of tests. After ending up in the ER; called the Dr to let him know. I was told he didn't remember me and that I should just go back to the ER. Next working week, I was called to make an appointment so that he could schedule the surgery. Appointment is still 3 weeks out and I am still in pain. This Dr and his staff do not sense any kind of urgency, especially when someone is in pain. Would not recommend unless you like pain and have a lifetime to wait.

LOVE HIM! He is wonderful! Dr. Acosta is kind and gentle and intelligent. You feel so safe in his care. I will forever be greatful to him!

Dr. Acosta is an sweet angel. He is kind, compassionate, amazingly talented, intelligent and makes you feel safe the moment you meet him. When I had a problem with an office staff, he took care of it promptly and appologized. He will never know how greatful I am to him. He holds such a special place in my heart!

This doctor does not care about his patient. He made me suffer made suffer for over 4 months of horrible gallbladder pain before he performed the surgery. I would call crying in pain and they would tell me that I had to wait for he had a lot of patients. I lost 14 pounds from the vomiting and diareah but he did not care. I was only 102 lbs when I first visited him and was 88 lbs when he finally performed the surgery. After the surgery they called to change my follow up appointment. I was supposted to be seen in six weeks yet he was going to cancel me for another month. I never went back to see him and I will never recommend him to anyone else. My pain doctor was very upset that I was put through all the pain and weight loss for I am already a disabled senior citizen who suffers from chronc pain. This doctor is only concerned with making money and has no feeling or compassion for the patient. I still suffer from lots of gas pain after the surgery. But I would never see this doctor again

The staff at his Las Palmas location are always there to answer questions when I call and Darlene at the desk is very helpful although, she is kind of slow understanding what I am really asking so there is a bit of confusion there. Dr. Acosta seems nice, knowledgeable and respectful always asking politely to see my stomach. They were prompt at seeing me everytime I went in and the were prompt with the insurance paperwork.

Abrupt and arrogant. His front office staff is rude. Do expect to spend a great deal of time waiting in his office. Don't complain about the rude treatment or he will abandon you (he will tell you that you can just leave if you don't like being treated rudely, and then he will not feel comfortable treating you.) The suggested solution to this is that I keep paying them, and I will get to see the staff for the specialized follow up care -- but the doctor himself won't see me. I am very frightened at the situation that I have been placed in by this doctor and his staff.

A very nice staff. He is sweet and caring and wants to do whatever is necessary to find out what is wrong.
