Luke is a very skilled dentist. I trust his work. He explains what is coming up in the procedure. Is patient, and makes sure I am not experiencing any pain. I have a lot of anxiety getting any dental work done in the past, but not with Luke. Exceptional dentist.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Szott. I broke a tooth eating nuts and the hole was quite deep. But the tooth was not hurting and I had no cavity on it. Dr. Szutt told me that I had to do root canal and possible extraction + tooth implant. When I asked Dr. Luke if we could just try to save the tooth first and simply put some composite in the hole he refused saying that it was not an option. Not thrilled I went for a second consult. The new dentist tried to save my tooth and performed a pulp capping. He put some medicine on the tooth and closed the hole with filling. Pulp capping does not always work but I was a good candidate for several reasons. It has now been several months and my tooth is doing perfectly fine. Will the tooth start hurting or give me problems in the future? Nobody knows and no dentist can predict it. And I honestly don't care. I am happy that I still have my tooth for as long as it lasts. A dentist that cares about the patient adopts a conservative approach and tries to save a tooth before recommending root canal or extraction+implant. Teeth are a part of the body and extreme options should only be the LAST RESORT when everything else has failed. But of course a dentist that is just interested in your money recommends extreme options very lightly. Pulp capping = $ 300 vs. Root Canal / extraction+ implant = more than $ 2000. Based on my experience I would not recommend this doctor. On top of this the staff is really pushy. If you care about the health of your teeth and would like to avoid unnecessary work perhaps you should stay away from this place too.

I don't normally leave reviews but just had another great appointment at Springbank Dental with Dr. Szott. I moved to this office over a year ago after reading great reviews and getting several recommendations from people in the community. The staff is always genuinely friendly, the office is always on time, their fees are comparable or lower than many of the offices in the area and most importantly, Dr. Szott is a great dentist. I had one appointment where I was in tears because my gums were so sensitive. Dr. Szott was very patient and understanding. There is never any pressure to do work that isn't required or in the best interest of the patient. I wholeheartedly recommend this office.

I used to have an intense fear of dentists but thanks to Dr. Szott and a couple of staff at Sundance Dental...It is mostly a thing of the past. He has a great disposition, really listens to you and has a steady but gentle touch. All the work he's done, root canal and crown.. Top notch, very professional. I highly recommend him.

Luke cured me of my fear of dentists. After a horrifically botch wisdom teeth extraction by a general dentist and an oral surgeon, I was ready to swear off all dentists forever. A friend of mine works for Luke and encouraged me to try, and to just tell him my fears. I cried the first time I went in there, but am perfectly fine now, 2 years later. Luke is funny, professional, asks lots of questions, ensures you are comfortable throughout the entire exam/procedure. Luke is phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend him.

Best dentist I have ever seen! Warm, caring and friendly and the work done was pain free and aesthetically pleasing! Definitely recommend!
