1st time ever seeing a podiatrist. I regret having chosen to go to him. I started running 6 months ago and have ran over 2000 miles. I recently started getting shin pain so that's why I decided to go to try and find a solution so that I could keep progressing. He was over an hour late for the appointment. He told me that running is horrible and that I didn't have 'the body of a runner'. He told me if I continued I would for sure break my knee and that other doctors would try and make me comfortable while running but he didn't believe in that. He said that I should accept that because of my high arches I should walk an hour a day on the treadmill (at 0 elevation) using 15$ shoes from Walmart and his custom orthotics. High arches are not uncommon and many people run with them, like I said I have ran (at 8 mph and at an incline) over 2000 miles in just a few months I think that anyone with any type of foot would feel it. I'm only 30 years old and my objective is to be in shape not necessarily loose weight. He kept on insisting that I walk an hour a day and don't eat after 6pm or drink soft drinks, I didn't realize he was a nutritionist and mind reader also and knew what I did without even asking me about my dietary habits, which are excellent. I'm only very slightly overweight I'm not even sure what he was referring to just by looking at me sitting on a chair he could make the hypothesis of I don't have the body or alignment of a runner, I didn't even stand up in front of him!! He kept on telling about people getting knee surgeries and its obvious he doesn't like running. I ABSOLUTELY HATED the 20 mins I spent with him he didn't do anything and ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T LISTEN TO WHAT I WANTED OR NEEDED. He doesn't listen at all he thinks that because he's older and has experience he knows everything but you cannot impose your opinions on others you need to listen. Yes, running has risks for anyone and my risks are higher than certain others, but that doesn't mean I cant run, close to 20% of ppl have high arches another large percentage have flat fee so for him basically less than half the population can run based on their feet and even they shouldn't do it. I'm a designer and builder I cannot go build someone a house that I want when its not about me its about what the client wants and needs. HORRIBLE....

Time to retire. His orthotics led to severe foot pain for me, which took 6 months to go away, with the help of another podiatrist & another $650. I will not be returning. Thanks Dr. M.

First, visit ever at a podiatrist. When he walked in, he spent some time talking about co-vid conspiracy theories, had a 30-second look at my foot, and moved my leg around. He told me one leg is short than the other (which I see is a recurring comment from previous reviews) and also suggested I book a second appointment to his other office for the scan and orthotics (glad I saved all that money and time...). I explained I have knee problems and had already gone to a specialized center where they did this video with cutting-edge 360 photographic imagery. He did not even ask if he could see it/review it for medical purposes. Persisted in talking about his senior clients and this "new technology" scan and orthotics for the whole consultation. I am in my 20s and I am not looking for a doctor to help me with my seniority. I also showed my problematic bunion and he completely ignored it although I brought it up a few times. 80's sales pitch which demonstrates it's all for the money. Definitely a waste of 90$

Because of heel spurs I was no longer able to walk. Surgeons suggested cutting out the bone fragment causing the pain but I went to Doc. Milioto and within 4 months the pain was gone completely. The orthotics also helped straighten my gait (I duck walked), eased my knee pain (all connected) and helped improve my quality of life. I go every 2 years for new orthotics even though the older ones are still in excellent shape. The cost of the orthotics are well worth a day which is pain free. Highly recommend him!

Being quite active I came down with a bad case of plantar fasciitis so I went to see Dr. Milioto to address the issue. He had me walk on the treadmill and filmed me so that he could have a look. He took the time to explain to me what was happening as I walked or ran while the video played and we agreed that I needed custom insoles. He used a laser scanner to obtain an image of my foot and delivered to me 3D printed insoles a few weeks later. My heel is slowly getting better and he makes sure to make me come in for follow up visits at no extra charge to keep an eye on my progress. All in all, I'm happy with the service and would go back. He got me running again!

I went to see him because of my feet. The first thing he said is that on of my leg is 3 inches longer than the other. He said that if I don’t get treated by him, my knee would break. He wanted me to try a machine that checks my movement and my legs. He wanted me to pay an extra 500$ just for the machine scan.
Two weeks later i went to see another doctor and he said my leg is perfect and really dosent need help and apparently my feet were but just “late curvers”. I saved over 1000$ by leaving Dr Milioto

Well, I guess I have had a complete different experience than the patiens below. I have been seeing Dr. Milioto for 2 years for a couple of pairs of orthotics and honestly, I am very, very satisfied. I find he knows his 'business' in the sense that he knows about feet. He always wants to recheck once you have worn them for a couple of weeks and you can go back as much as you want if you need a recheck on the orthotics.
