So caring and respectful of our opinions. She went out of her way as often as she could to make sure we got the care we wanted. We had an emergency on her day off and came to make sure we were getting all the care and insisted on all the tests, even when the Dr. treating us that day said he was not planning to do them. She likes to be thorough and I love and appreciated knowing that. I am shocked and inspired that her punctuality has not suffered more.

I had dr. Cardinal for my last pregnancy, we found out my son had brain issues and she explained everything to me, things she didn't know she found out for me. I honestly don't think I would have been able to handle everything if it wasn't for her. Best doctor I have ever had in my life

Dr Kathy Cardinal has been my doctor for all 3 of my pregnancies. She is the most amazing human being. Always so helpful and super patient. Always punctual for appointments. Never judgemental and stays with you as long as you need to discuss whatever is on your mind. The odd time I checked into a hospital for fainting spells (low BP) she showed up on her personal time just to see for herself what was happening and how I was doing. She calls me personally for both good and bad news. She makes dam.n sure you are comfortable and happy during your labor process. She is so up front about everything and always so warm and welcoming. I really can't say enough good about her. I almost wish she was my mom. She's that incredible. And her staff at the woodcroft public health Centre in edmonton are exceptional people as well. I just want to keep having babies to keep her in my life! :P

Dr Cardinal was amazing throughout my pregnancy. She is very respectful and knowledgeable. When there was bad news she called me personally. When I needed an emergency c section she came in the operating room just to be supportive. Although some appointments started late, it's because she makes time for every patient - you never feel rushed. Sherylynn at the front is also very punctual and makes sure everything runs smoothly. I will definitely see her again for future pregnancies.

Wonderful doctor. Most of the time, will see you in 15 min. She is very pleasant to be around and very knowledgeable. Won't force you to agree with her. Very respectable. I wish she would see as a family doctor, not just maternity.

I was referred to Dr. Cardinal by my doctor at the walk-in clinic and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! She was amazing! She was always very caring, attentive and answered my tons of queries. Although mine was a low risk pregnancy, but at the last moment there was a complication because of which I needed a emergency c-section. Although the midnight surgery had to be performed by the obst on duty, she came and saw me right afterwards around 1am and then again the next morning. She was very supportive and coached me through the initial few weeks especially with breast feeding. Its unfortunate that for my second pregnancy Im no longer in Edmonton or I would have gone back to her hands down!

On 2/22 I wrote saying that I would be visiting Dr Cardinal for my next child. My 2nd daughter was born 2 weeks ago and I did see Dr Cardinal through my entire pregnancy just as I'd planned. Everything was perfect, she was super attentive and caring, just as I knew she'd be! Wish I wanted a third so that I could go back to her.

Saw her two separate pregnancies and found her to be very understanding, caring and thorough. She definitely made me feel like I was in capable knowledgable care. When both pregnancies failed she gave me the proper contacts to heal.
