Dr Paruk is awesome! That is if you can see him. My wife tried to book my son and called Herman to confirm appointment so she can send that to her work so she can come to clinic. Herman first told her y she needs to book for my son, he should book himself. Then after arguing, she agreed with my wife because he was minor my wife always books the kids. Then she advised she was too busy to send confirmation right away. My wife requested if she can send right away so she can submit to her work. By the time she sent confirmation, it was too late. My wife ended up using online Dr and took my son to walkin clinic next day.
I needed my diabetes medicine refilled and I booked appointment online and in notes, I requested phone appointment. Appointment was confirmed. I waited for phone call between 330-340p and Herman called asked if I was coming or on my way. Herman gave me so much grief and told me they don't read notes from patients.
What kind of clinic is this that so much grief is given by the receptionist Herman that it makes it impossible to see the doctor. Even when my wife booked a 330p appointment, clinic called at 130p to see if my wife can come at 140p as Dr wants to leave early.
This is not what this clinic used to be. I will be switching doctors after so many years. Paruk cares but the clinic doesn't.

I've seen Dr. Paruk many times and taken my son to see him, too. I like him a lot, always very kind and attentive. He takes notes and actually cares to follow up on previous issues. Was extremely helpful and supportive when my mental health was at its lowest.

He prescribed morphine without an actually meeting, he was more interested in trying to make money than helping people. What a terrible person. The Muslim faith is weaker for having him push his beliefs in such a twisted way

I saw Dr Paruk when my family physicians clinic could not, and I was very pleased. My blood pressure and oxygen was checked prior to seeing the doctor. Dr. Paruk was very attentive, and didn’t hesitate to send me for diagnostic tests. He phoned me at home to discuss the results in detail, allowing me to ask questions and provided a further referral. Excellent service and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this clinic and Dr Paruk again.

Worst doctor I’ve ever met. Lacks any compassion and was very judgmental when I cried because of physical pain I was in. I was not taking any pain medication other than Advil/Tylenol and then he suggested that I might “do something” implying I would start using illegal drugs. He made me feel so much worse when I was only looking for a requisition for diagnostic imaging and I cried leaving the clinic. I wish I had never seen this doctor.

I do not go the dr. to hear of their religious/spiritual practices and beliefs. what an ego, focus on the patient not yourself.

His methodology is based on finding the quickest surface solution, rather than digging deep — thus missing issues other doctors subsequently found. Though he initially seemed kind and I quite liked him at first, I found that he would stereotype me based on my appearance and religion. He moved to AB and only left us with a photocopied letter saying “good luck with finding another doctor”.
