I had been a patient of Dr. Bemenderfer's for years....at the age of forty, I started to develop symptoms...I was informed by her nurse prac. at the time that it was due to my weight and my age. I suffered for one year of severe pain and loss of work. Finally, I demanded some tests. I had a emergency abdominal hysterectomy and can never have kids. I chose not to sue as I did like Dr. Bemederfer and I know you can't beat the medical system. I am writing this to ease my mind and say, :listen to your bodies" and advocate for your bodies. My life was changed inmeasurably.

Dr. Bemenderfer is the best Dr I have ever been able to have been treated by. Dr. Bemenderfer is very knowledgeable, very professional and very caring...the trifecta of Dr's! I would recommend her to anyone!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Bemenderfer two days ago. As a new patient, I had to wait months for the appointment but she was well worth it. She took her time, was kind and thoughtful, provided honest answers and advice. This is the doctor I wish that I had when I was having children. I selected her based on her high ratings (and close proximity) and I'm so glad that I did. It's nice to have a doctor who is considerate of my time and truly listens.

Dr. Bemenderfer is wonderful. Her demeanor makes you feel calm, reassured, and as if you were her only patient. She provides a very high quality, personal level of service. With my two daughters, she did not rush to suggest induction. She is very knowledgable. She also takes a personal interest in her patients. After the deliveries of my daughters, she visited me in the hospital and also called me at home to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Bemenderfer to anyone looking for an OBGYN. The staff at her office is wonderful as well. They are very friendly and welcoming, and are prompt to respond to any inquiries.

Is there a higher rating than a 5? Dr. Bemenderfer is extraordinary at what she does. She is truly a great doctor as well as a great person. I saw her for gyn issues, not for OB. When returning test results to me, she actually called me herself in the evening at home instead of having the nurse just do it. Impressive knowledge base, not rushed, makes you feel as though you are the only patient she sees all day! Very calming demeanor. Her kindness truly shines through in all she does. Indy's best! If you are looking for fantastic OB/GYN care, call her office. May take some time to get in to see her, but well worth it.

This is the BEST OB Indianapolis has to offer! Everyone I know who goes to her just adores her. She the the most wonderful bedside manner. Just love her!
